With BTC  raised up  votecoin  price  drop... when  BTC  going  back,  votecoin  price  keep  falling  even  faster, hope that  temporary

Yea, VOT price don't make us happy recent days. And we didn't get any news from the devteam. What is current state of the development? Maybe any new feature or smth else?

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

Current status:
- showing balance and transaction history partially works
- sending transactions partially works
- receiving should work fine
- voting and other settings not yet available.

Please keep in mind that the code may be broken at any point in time so if you wish to test, make sure to spend only small amounts of VOT.

How to run:
1) download release ZIP
2) unpack
3) run votecoin.exe
4) if you get errors, feel free to report. If you are missing features, WAIT until the first quarter of 2018

Electron "framework" is used for the VoteCoin GUI wallet, thus it will be easily portable to all common OSes.
Linux version will require little to none modifications, so it can be released probably the same day as Windows version.
MacOS version needs some tweaks so that will be a bit later.

when wait linux GUI wallet?

At first we need stable release of the wallet. Then should to think about listing on other exchanges.
