Hello people!
I do not understand how to transfer coins from the old version to the new wallet?
Please explain in more detail. Wink

The simpliest way is just export privkeys from old wallet and import them to the new one.
Use the following command:
in old wallet:

Code:
dumpprivkey YOUR_OLD_WALLET_ADDRESS

in new wallet:

Code:
importprivkey YOUR_PRIVKEY_GOT_ON_PREVIOUS_STEP

And it's not nessesary to sync your old wallet to dump privkeys

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

It is very interesting that Tomas actually create a Linux distro OS on his own. How fantastic is that. I think it would be incredible if he could incorporate VOT into the OS and release it as VOTE-OS a linux distribution that has Crypto embedded for voting and purchases on the internet, and allows ad removal by spending VOT where content creator gets a cut (similar to BAT but thats an ICO) so it will be embedded into the browser that is included with the OS. The OS could also have Proof of Stake reward system based on the time the system is ON and tied to the CPU serial number verification to avoid mass duplications within the same system.

The moral of the story is that we need to get the original developer back on board, he can do so much with this coin and his capabilities.

It's not that hard Smiley

This could surely happen

and allows ad removal by spending VOT where content creator gets a cut (similar to BAT but thats an ICO) so it will be embedded into the browser that is included with the OS
wtf? :-) Seriously, I didn't get it Smiley

The OS could also have Proof of Stake reward system based on the time the system is ON and tied to the CPU serial number verification to avoid mass duplications within the same system.
I am afraid this is not possible at the moment.

The moral of the story is that we need to get the original developer back on board, he can do so much with this coin and his capabilities.
What do you mean by "get the original developer back on board"? I am on board still. Smiley

Wholly crap are you Tom? I checked out your Github history and you have been active there for a long time. I am starting to love this project because of your background. Unfortunately I cant buy much every time I put a buy order against DOGE the price creeps up.

Anyway, I think a VOTE-OS could certainly be a hit by integrating the Crypto into the operating system's browser this is something no one has done before and who knows where it will take us. To get adoption by the community, the first release could be one that is used by the miners (similar to EthOS) that boots up and has all drivers etc ready to go. Then in turn the OS  auto converts anything that has been mined by the system into VOTE coins using an API tied to an exchange.

The idea of paid AD removal to protect content creators as opposed to stealing with ADBlock, is actually from BAT, not me and their Brave browser (BAT: https://basicattentiontoken.org). Although I had for years thought of a similar solution, they are the ones who actually did it and when I saw it I thought someone had read my mind. The way it could work is that you can buy VOT coins that will go embedded inside the browser that also acts as your wallet, then you can chose to block off the ads by spending tiny amounts of VOT coins. The author of that website could signup with you to get a big cut of the VOT coins spent on his page. So we are talking about combining LINUX+Miner++Wallet+ADBlock+Chrome+"BAT ideas". Eventually the browser+wallet combo could spin off and be installed on Windows as a standalone product, while still be downloadable as a Crypto-Linux USB stick.

Future roadmaps:

The BTCZ.me technology could be embeded within the Browser or the OS.

Also some payment gateways need to get implemented INSIDE the browser such as this: https://btcz.in/#

Bitpay can be forked for Android wallet like BTCZ team has done.

Proving keys are the same like zcash uses, so it is downloaded from here:

https://z.cash/downloads/sprout-proving.key
https://z.cash/downloads/sprout-verifying.key

The files are hosted on some amazon cloud and it is sometimes faulty, please try again later.

yep that's me posting here, as long as you can see my sig (-Tom) under the post Smiley

Unfortunately neither I nor anybody else from our team is skilled enough to make in-browser integration of VoteCoin in the way you described, and from my own point of view I find it hard to see any benefits.

For sure! That's why  I am asking <= 1 VOT, it is only testing feature. If this poll is successful, will run more with fair multiplier, at least x5 and up limit to 50 VOT.

I am plan to have a lot sports match, not only football, but tennis, basket etc, this is very first attempt Smiley

You are welcome!

Team, could you add the ability to display new votings in the wallet without adding it after search by IDs? This will greatly facilitate to the distribution of the application (the wallet).

BetwithVotecoin This is a great idea!
Tom, think about it. Anonymous bookmaker in the wallet. The capitalization of the coin will fly to the moon. Only I'm not sure about the legality of this and I'm not sure that others have not done it yet  Cheesy
I think there will be a lot of interested people.
