Just spent 18 hours with 1560ksol rig at miningspeed and only got 60 VOT including unconfirmed. Just how bad is this mining pool business become? I'm used to seeing 40% hidden fees but this is a lot worse. Calcs say I should have mined around 250 VOT. Hidden fees at pools are teaching crazy high levels.

I wish we could get in suprnova yes they have tons of miners but they also don't screw the miners they have 1% typical fee advertised and 10-15% actual fees they take which is much better than some other pools at 40%+

Giving all miners an update on miningsoeed. Their hidden fees are approaching 40% now. In 24 hours according to calculators I was supposed to mine around 190 VOT but I only received 115 VOT. Here is the link to my miner:

1560ksol = 1,5 MSol it was summary network hashrate. Bring your calculations. Time interval, hashrate of the pool, your hashrate, the number of blocks found during this time.

The official pool does not make payments in the morning, all blocks are in PENDING state. Does it need fixing or should we just wait?

This is a great project and I like how the development goes.. I have a bag but Votecoin really needs to get on better exchange for more volume and better reputation. Cryptopia, Bibox, Kucoin.. even coinexchange would do it. I cant imagine that all those coins on cryptopia really have to pay the whole listing fee, maybe contact cyptopia support and ask nicely?

Especially for you. I ran two versions of the wallet (old and new) on different versions of the operating system. The average number of connections is 8. Coins move freely between wallets.

- try ping mainnet.votecoin.site
- make sure "addnode=mainnet.votecoin.site" (without quote) is in your votecoin.conf
- restart wallet.

I use votecoind.exe and vot.bat from Ms Windows command prompt  for simplicity

There was an error on the official VoteCoin pool, it tried to send payments to some invalid address, and since that failed, payments were delayed due to that. It is now fixed and all payments were sent properly.

Also, there was an error in dnsseed servers for VoteCoin, basically there was a full-debug-logging enabled on the dnsseed nodes, and the debug log took 100% of hard disk capacity, and the dnsseed nodes died due to that. This caused problems in sync for new users. This has been also fixed, so new users should be able to connect and sync wallet now without any issues.

We are sorry for the troubles, lets hope it won't happen too often
