Any chance to improve the wallet to deal with corrupted blockchain files due to improper reboot? Some other wallets detect this situation and resync blockchain without the need to delete files manually?
There is an option to rebuild all data bases from the existing block files. Use it. -reindex You don't understand. I mean that good wallet nowadays should detect corrupted blockchain file (or other stuff) and reindex automatically (or ask user to do this) or even make total resync from scratch if needed. +1

It happen quite often that my pc is shutdown due to unstable grid power. When I reopen the wallet I always get errors and the program crash... I need to delete some log files to run it. The problem is that it downloads every time the entire blockchain taking a lot of time... Is there a fix for it ?

Make a .bat file in your trezarcoin folder
trezarcoin-qt.exe --reindex
It takes 10 minutes or less.
If you don't know how to make a bat file, just go in to your trezarcoin folder, right click > new > text document Then enter trezarcoin-qt.exe --reindex Then 'save as' Reindex.bat Make sure that save as file type is "all files" not "text documents (*.txt)"

I would start with MBate22's suggestion to run the executable with the --reindex parameter. The --rescan parameter also helps some people. If that does not work and you need to try a reinstall of the wallet, I have heard of people saving a folder in the "data" directory in order to short-cut having to download the blockchain. I am not certain but it may be the "blocks" directory/folder... Of course, if that shortcut does not work, you should then try an actual "fresh reinstall".

Altminer pool for TrezarCoin has disappeared.
Keep getting "stratum authentication failed" eventually got banned for 900 seconds because I was not around my rig at the time.
Tried to join the official TCZ pool and am getting the same message.
Anyone else?

I found a thread on here with similar details about VIVO being deleted from Altminer, however for this person it came back after about 30 minutes. TCZ has been gone for over 2 hours now... not sure whats going on.

Yes, it seems there is an issue with most pools currently. It is my understanding that this is being addressed, but I have not heard a specific estimate on timing.

You have to make sure your wallet is unlocked for staking. On the bottom right corner there should be a triangle, if its orange you are staking, if it isn't than you need to unlock your wallet.

How many coins do you get per stake coins?
Let say I have 10000 coins. How many coins would fall my way when it does get a pos reward?
Trezarcoin uses a 0% proof of stake, which means you are not guaranteed a fixed APR. Rather, the coins you hold are mathematically translated into hashing power called 'coinweight', which is then multiplied by your coin age (up to a maximum of 16 days) and used to mine coins. Once you've found a block, you'll be rewarded with 100 coins & your coin age will reset. The "PoS difficulity" is variable, so the more people staking, the harder it will be for you but your odds increase the longer you've waited without a reward. It is a similar concept to mining, but instead of investing in gpus, you're investing in coins since your balance (hashpower) is being used to find new blocks. This is where I get a confused (So I'm probabaly going to confuse you too but from my understanding: Your wallet will be virtually split into multiple inputs. So if your 10k coin is split into 10 inputs of 1000 and input number 5 finds a block, the coinage multipler will reset for that input only. That's correct. Q2: Sending money from the wallet resets the input time, but will depositing more money into my wallet do the same? I'm mining this coin have 8000 in a staking address and I'm depositing 50-100 coins daily into a mining address. Incoming coins mean more inputs. They don't modify age of the existing inputs. P.S. Please don't call it some orange triangle. That's the Penrose tribar.

Automatic reindexing is attempted if the block index doesn't exist or cannot be loaded due to errors. If it can be, but just doesn't match the blocks for whatever reason, it's too late to unload. A non-standard situation, so user intervention required.
