Etherscan.io is a block explorer for Ethereum, we are currently working on our fast block explorer with all major features.
And SHAFT does not support MyEtherwallet, so you have to create address via geth for now. When we launch GUI wallet there wdill be no complication issues like creating a wallet and checking balances
