Can we sort out the block halving thing. In the BTCz forum under FAQ 15 is stats there will never be any block reward decrease? Someone can confirm my understanding?
Thanks for pointing that out. Apologies for the confusion. It's been updated. There will be a halving.

I am reading a lot of nonsense here. People don’t be pessimist. We are on the right way. Prices fluctuate time after time. Even big coins have ups and downs. For example, on June this year Ethereum in best days, was in ratio ETH/BTC approximately 7.5/1, if I remember good. Today this ratio is around 18/1.
BTCZ is young (baby) coin, just two months old. We must care about our baby and else with come by the time. What you expected? To be billionaire during the night? Sorry. Don’t care too much about “Hooper Miners” from Nicehash. This is positive if they help us in mining. Usually they mine, take profit and go. But they are part of the development of the coin. After selling their coins (dumping) they will be disappear. The price will come back again. It is a cycle.
Do your math. Actually in time of writing I see that mining BTCZ is still more profitable than mining Ethereum with actual hashrate and difficulty. Sorry for my Tarzan English.

As I see it is "community's project" so I ask most involved ones. Add BitcoinZ coin to yobit.net exchange. It is quite big and open to new coins. It is easy https://yobit.net/ru/addcoin/. I can add it myself but my application will habe less chances. Moreover I recommend to pay some fee. If exchange will add BitcoinZ it's price will certainly go up. Not sure about the moon but...

Well I have be posting about this nicehash problem for sometime now, these miners have no incentive to hold since fees need paid so they dump eating up buy orders for whatever price they can get, this is reason price crashes and difficulty increases but seems only us loyal miners can see this,I regularly see pool xyz advertising his nicehash port and I used to mine there till he started looking for nicehash miners, greed is a terrible thing and destroys great projects,we are not alone in this problem there are many other coins been damaged by this behaviour and left with sky high difficulty and low price after they dump
I completely get and respect what you are saying about Nicehash miners disrupting the BitcoinZ environment. But I think we are stuck with them. The community is working hard to promote the coin and attract attention. Some of that attention is going to be from people who want to make a quick buck. In my opinion, that is OK because it gets the BitcoinZ name out there. Everyone who makes a few dollars will remember BitcoinZ, will monitor its performance, and will probably help drive the price upwards again in the future. Nicehash miners will come and go as the price rises and falls. Those of us with a hodl strategy simply must hope that the long term price trend is positive and that those who sold during the recent price spike wish they had held onto their coins instead of selling for a quick profit. Hi, Newb to mining, can someone explain how Nicehash is disrupting BTCZ? Thanks! The biggest problem from a miner’s perspective is that NiceHash miners come in and apply huge amounts of hashing power to a coin that has a relatively small amount of hashing power in its network. This not only drives up difficulty, but it distorts results for everyone else. Here is an example of someone adding more than 10 MSol/s of hashing power on Miningspeed’s pool for 30 minutes earlier this evening. Note that he more than doubled the hashing power of the entire network. https://imgur.com/a/x5dql

I know a guy who own 1/4 of all the btcz coins, which is not good.

If dev want to list the coin on cryptopia, they will have to pay 5BTC to it. It is not cheap to get list on medium exchange.

First of all close the wallet application. Then... you have to go to application data... to fix it... One of the ways to access it is by pressing "Windows" key on your keyboard with "R" that will bring up the Run command. Type in "%appdata%" then enter... Bitcoinz folder and you should see file called bitcoinz.conf > Open it and use notepad to open the file Paste this into it addnode=62.12.7.151 addnode=[2604:a880:cad:d0::5e39:4001] addnode=[2a01:4f8:c0c:3532::2] addnode=[2a02:c207:2013:2448::1] addnode=107.181.174.211 addnode=62.12.7.151 addnode=btcz.webrats.com addnode=btcz.owlminingclub.com save it and re-open your wallet enjoy!

When someone owns 1/4 of all the coins, that is like a de facto premine and will function as a deterrent for regular (small time) gpu miners. Thanks for nothing NiceHash, thank you for destroying the coin for the rest of us.

Could you make an application auto-restart when an error occurs during overclocking? How is it done in EWBF?
Tnx you.
I think ive read that there is a solution somewhere in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0 Mining section. Or google it.
