Hello,

Anyone knows if is a good investment buy a Baikal X for this new price at the site, 999 usd Huh

Hmm.. it’s pretty late since the miner came out. High risk to buy this late.

Also if you are from the EU they don’t have CE-Certificates. They denie to send me some as example, you can scroll back some pages.
I bought 2nd batch and would have maybe bought more, but the risk without CE is to high I think.

Do some research about the profits and where it could be in 1 or 2 month. Actual rewards don’t have to be the same.

Is there still high MOQ? Or do they sell them separately ?

Greetings

I am around $6-$15 per day for months now - Average is right around $10. I use awesomeminer with miningpoolhub and nicehash - all algo's are configured that each pool has available - automatically mine the most profitable algo/pool.

So to me, yeah it's worth it, and if they actually add new algo's again, that will extend the life of BK-X profits.

Only thing I do not like about Baikal is that horrible website and doing things via email and Skype - please get a real website with shopping cart etc. It would double their sales - took me a year to finally order from them...

Why use only miningpoolhub and nicehash?

May I ask you at which temperature you are running your x10?
Mine is approaching at 46 Celsius, looks a little high.

Now I know why you got more BTC than me per day, because you use Algos which have more power consumption.

I only use low power Algos. At the end it’s the same profit.

What is awesomeminer and how to use it? I‘ve heard about it but only for gpu mining.  Huh

To say it’s a good deal is risky, many factors. If I have used my miner money for coins I had around 200k€. Instead of some peanuts.
Maybe BTC hits 100k or more and investing in BTC would be much better because all Algo difficulties skyrock again.

Who knows who knows.  Wink

Just because I like to receive BTC at times and you don't want your miner changing too often, the brief down time during the switch and the lost shares from switching pools (depending in type of pool payout) and actually harm you compared to staying within a smaller pool size. I should mention, I do not have x11 as an option.

I am in mid 30's to low 40's. I think 46 is fine.

Mine are 49-51C (122F); although my mining room can run a little hot. Usually between 90-110F.

i'm mining with mining-dutch on myrgro only which give around that figure.

i'm also wite a small python script that can switch around the pools for my own preference technique of defined profitability.

I have got mine at 55° C at the moment depending on algo because I have a problem with the ventilation. But everything runs fine. Will fix ventilation asap.

I nearly freaked out mine are getting 38 degrees Celsius. So close to 40.

Now i‘m relaxed after I hear how high they work fine.

Room temp is around 30 - 31 degrees.

Miner at 70% fan speed (more speed changed not many, but reduce lifecycle)

I keep humidity below 50% (important!) and above 30%.

Dust filters keep them clean, so I think i‘m good to go.

running directly on the box with starting and stopping the service or are you hitting the api and doing it that way?  i've been meaning to write some python for it and for my D3 but been slacking with all of my gpu rig changes and benching lol.  there has been a lot of new mining apps and algos coming out lately eating up my time.

38 degrees Celsius?! Does it warm up the room much? This is the only concern that I have.

its a script running inside the miner. the concept similar likes the nicehash inside the sgminer source code, where check profitable from mining-dutch then switch pool.

Anyone have their X10 going down every couple of days?
Sometimes it will be shown as hashing, but not submitting shares, requiring a power cycle or reboot in the interface.

Other times it will be completely down, only a power cycle will bring it online. Any tips to solve this?
