I think you are incorrect.

This update is great for X10 owners and bad for GPU owners.

GPU and X10 traffic will all shift around

I updated my x10 and also couldn't connect to NH on either x11gost or nist5.. i don't know why its not working for us!

Ah okay I just tried the EU server for x11gost and it did work on nicehash so im guessing the usa and hk servers are down or blocked or w/e (also guessing nist5 on eu would work for me too cuz it didn't work when i tried usa)

I might just stick with myr gro on mining dutch tho now that everything is evening out mostly

If you take the daily rewards of NIST5(BWK) and X11Gost(SIB):
Bulwark $26800 rewards per day (# blocks x block reward x coin price)
Sibcoin $1000 rewards per day

So that total money ($26800+$1000) gets added to the X10 pool of daily possible profits.  While the new algorithms are no more profitable than the old ones, the profit on the old algorithms goes up slightly as the total rewards (per day) for the X10 'pool' increases slightly and the X10 owners spread out over the new options.

Now if an algorithm was added where the total rewards were $1M per day, then the profit on all algorithms would go up dramatically.

(UPDATE: I fixed my X10, the problem during the update was that I didn't delete the old partition from the SD card prior to flashing the new image).

I've read some minutes ago that it was as simple as deleting cookies and cache in your browser.
Or using a different browser.
Or pressing Ctrl-F5 to force a full reload.

I tried it, after one hour directly mining nist5 i can i say it is definitly not worth at the moment.

But maybe later, so good they added. But not needed to hurry for the update.

Better replace it with ESD protection, you have to push the pi board everywhere. >.<

Totally agree, both Baikal and Bitmain play dirty and leave you the crumbs, if they continue like other companies like Halon mining and some more that are starting to eat the market, because the opinion of the customers of Baikal and Bitmain is very bad i reason but they receive the same as they give.

for other , anyway baikal multi algo is nice , low noise , low consumation , bitmain is like a place reactor in your house and not optimized , the proof modder get it better at all point.

So baikal did good job but yes they are here to make money , as every company , stop rage about new algo , because your were dreaming about making 200$/day ? many here warn you the profit cant be that once algo released, so damm stop , it s your own error to believe this ! and of course you are desapointed ! --> your own fault

So if you can't understand how diff and mining work , and if you are unhappy , sell your miner and stop spit on everything like child.
We are all here to change informations about X10 not to hear everytime rage , cry , trolling ....
And take the place of gpu miners just a minute !

You are right.  But there are many stupid people who think that Baikal X10 make profit.      It make now profit of only 10-20 usd a day.  But it there more X10 comes and use our net it will be much less!!!!!

GUYS PLEASE BEWARE!!!

I try to be as safe as I can while networking. But there is some "mofo", called "abbik84.x10", who is using the fact that people are updating Baikals, and he is getting into them, (cause password comes back to baikal, and root password too), it happened to me in a matter of 5 minutes or less. Got into my X10, (of course I had DMZ on my router on it and all that), but I just didnt have the chance to configure it again and this MOFO changed the root password, and made me impossible to configure back my X10, even though I was able to login and modify pools, but on Status page, his account will keep showing up on MPhub. I mean, I swear I cleared Browser Cache, went to different PC, went to Linux and checked again, and he will just keep mining in my X10.


Please confirm anybody who experienced something similar, I though for a while it was a Baikal´s tester username or something like that....

Of course I formatted, disabled DMZ and all that configured everything and Im back mining, but JUST BEWARE!!!

Just configure your miner without internet connection and change passwords (web password and root login). Even if i have no idea why anybody can just come to your network and i think you should find out why and how this is possible, it seems to me that this is the easiest way to setup your miner and change passwords before the hacker can do...

can anyone who's upgraded comment on starpool profit? how is profit switching with the 2 new algos and how are payouts?
I havent upgraded yet, still mining verge on suprnova.
