Profit won't go thru the roof. Is it so hard to understand principles of mining?

There will be a rise in profit as the plus 2 algorithms will distribute the hash power more evenly, but I agree that it will not hit the roof. Nevertheless I expect that the price of the units will dramatically increase with 7 algos.

By the way does anybody know how much was the price of the first batch Giant B?

I was on Starpool the last 24 hours. I'm pretty happy with the outcome of 0.3 LTC. My miner had shares for all algos but X11. This is my password line:

c=LTC,quark=1,qubit=1,myr-gr=1,skein=0.5

I tried also single coin mining with nice profit on ALQO. I collected LIZ, LPA, ARGO and CURVE....lets see if I can sell them for a nice price.

All in all Starpool did a nice job for me.

Also tried starpool.biz with same options c=LTC,quark=1,qubit=1,myr-gr=1,skein=0.5 but after 24h I got only 0.1LTC (~23$)
Total Unpaid      0.01234102 LTC
Total Paid         0.08882658 LTC
Total Earned      0.10116760 LTC
So this is ever less then nicehash profit - what's wrong with my x10?))) Hashrate according to graphs was OK, switching also OK (worked at all 4 algos but mostly quark and qubit of course)

Not sure my man I just got 55 per miner yesterday. I started a fresh account to keep track. Are you counting credits not yet paid to you? You realize it has to clear the exchange before it will hit your wallet. I am even doing btc which has higher transaction fees.

Also if you are hashing low algo pools like skien they make take a little time to clear. Although some say it's worth it I would take skien out of your rotation if you want payments to be a little higher immediately long term however it may be wise to leave it in.

Yes, unfortunately 0.1LTC is total earned (paid + unpaid)

   Name      Immature      Confirmed         Total   Value*
   Litecoin
(total pending)      0.00817991   0.00425081      0.01243073 LTC
   Balance      0.00264294 LTC
   Total Unpaid   0.01507367 LTC
   Total Paid      0.08882658 LTC
   Total Earned   0.10390025 LTC

If you want your dailys to increase stop hashing skien. You probably have a lot of credits waiting to be mined (it should show you under wallet what percentage you have waiting on what algo). Stay on the higher hash pools to get a better 24 hour.

Unlikely that problem is in skein, it was almost 50\50 quark and qubit
Here is my wallet https://www.starpool.biz/?address=Lg9UgnzoHTTrvCHf29Z9tJJUvJwqxvPCxU
I really don't understand where is my 60$ daily  Huh Grin
Will wait 1-2 days more and get back to nicehash if nothing changes
I see that you reached 1 LTC can u tell how long have u been there ?

Unfortunately I was hopping few times to another pools.
And I dont see how to find detailed statistic on starpool (no history nothing). Maybe I am noob but didnt find it...
Looking at the incoming payments I would say profitability is about 0,15LTC from one X10 daily. This is not huge but more then Nicehash and mining-dutch.

For example for mining-dutch I have precise statistic:
Here is a overview of your earnings of quark 2018-02-23

Sometimes mining-dutch good but mostly not. mining-dutch promising very high profit but this is bug. Admin promised to fix wrong profit calculation for quark and myr-groestl but at the moment doesn't did it.
Also mining-dutch have 2% pool fee and 2% convertation to BTC fee.
So at the moment starpool is best, Nicehash  a little worse and mining-dutch worst.

Wrong. Zpool is the worst of the worse. By the way thanks for sharing your experience.

Here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2170308.msg30284163#msg30284163

Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Code:
You have to create a line (entry for a pool) for each Algo.

Like this:

stratum+tcp://skein.starpool.biz:4933
stratum+tcp://myr-gr.starpool.biz:5433
stratum+tcp://qubit.starpool.biz:4733
stratum+tcp://quark.starpool.biz:4033

Password for all lines:

c=YOUR_PAYOUT_COIN,quark=1,qubit=1,myr-gr=1,skein=0.5

Payout in Litecoin (lower transaction fees) would be:

c=LTC,quark=1,qubit=1,myr-gr=1,skein=0.5

if you want to include power consumption also, change the numbers a bit to prefer myr-gr and skein.

c=LTC,quark=1,qubit=1,myr-gr=1.1,skein=0.6

so to complete these instructions put in the U account settings as a litecoin address ?

-u <LTC WALLET_ADDRESS>

Depending on c=COIN

If you set c=LTC you have to enter your Litecoin address as username. Just the plain adress.

Uhhmmm..

Click at an Algo at starpool and you will see, which coins are there. myr-gr has 6 different coins. Verge Groestl included.

Everyone here tried to warn them. As is it now, you'd need a whole year to pay that off and you know there is no chance that you'll be making what you are making now by the time that year ends. The price was all Baikal cashing in after pumping the hardware's value by initially releasing low numbers. Anyone that paid $7,000 and didn't flip it immediately on ebay is in for a rough time. I paid $2500 for my x10. It paid for itself already, however, I would not even pay that again at this point.

Yeah if those algo's dont come out soon might be time to unload for 7K on ebay.

I paid $8,500 for mine in January, and I've made about $1,000 so far with it. Selling it on eBay is starting to sound pretty good. Especially when I could get two L3+ and make about the same per month.

You can still sell it for that price. And the coins that you have mined so far is your profit.

If you are making the same amount with 2 L3+ then you would be lowering your profits since you would be using nearly 2000 watts compared to the 700 watts max(using X11)
