Are you a True Believer?

I see alot of people are holding Bitcoins and are convinced that their coins would multiply in value. The same people preach the Bitcoin ideology that its P2P,  decentralised, low to nil send or receive etc.

However, only a small group of people today are using Bitcoins as they were intended. And the fees are not exactly cheap to buy Bitcoins, not to mention those exchange places are basically like banks.

So my question is, are you a True believer of Bitcoins and other Cryptocurrencies that it will one day replace paper money, decentralised and all. Or are you only a believer that the price will continue to climb and you'll one day be a millionaire?

I simply find it fascinating that its apparent, people are preaching the benefits of Bitcoins but they are not using them. Preaching to newbies and drive up the demand and prices of the coins.
Rather, I would love to see people who really believe in Bitcoins, actually going out there and using the coins to purchase products, send/receive coins and let the coins circulate around. I would love to see that day. When the prices are not so volatile, and the coins are being used as they were intended. However, not being volatile also means the prices would rise sharply like it has been this year, which also means you wont be a millionaire holding onto them coins.

So are you a True Believer?

I strongly believe that someday bitcoin will rise and will become a digital currency in the future. people have started to know about bitcoin and have started investing. I also believe bitcoin can turn my future bright.

Yes i believe in bitcoin. Bitcoin help people to those in need and also bitcoin provide decent job to those people need job. Bitcoin create an opportunity to everyone to earn money and create job to those people unemployed.

I am having the same thoughts. I see people using it only as an investment but I guess it depends on their needs. I wish it finally sets us all free from this current system. Still it needs a lot of time though to achieve this goal and noone can deny that.

I'm not that expert, but from the price move that has taken place between the day I entered the community to the present helps me realize the true potential and this makes me a true believer of bitcoin. Though I don't earn big, I've the hope that I'll earn reach great heights through it.

I am a believer of btc because I've proven how useful it is especially its profitability. But I'm not certain whether it can really replace paper money or fiat. Let's face it, not all people have access to btc. The first thing we need to have access in btc is at least an android phone and internet connection which not everybody have. Bitcoin can go alongside with money but it definitely still cannot replace it.

C'mon... Bitcoin is still in diapers, let it spread a bit further among the people for the next 10 years and you will see a more educated society on this matter.

Even maximum of the people are know about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Although its not for safe everyone.  But I believe that it will be the big market place of alt coin. and already running on the way. And most powerful alt coin is Bitcoin.

I am a person who only believes for what I have seen, so so far as I can see from bitcoin is a very profitable investment that is precisely not just seeing others gain by investing in bitcoin but I myself already feel how profitable this investment is. Yeah it is true the price of the bitcoin is unable to predict because people are saying that the price of the bitcoin will go more high in the coming few years. Sad to know the truth but the thing you are saying on here is the truth on which most people do really see Bitcoin as a form of investment not really on its main purpose but well we cant blame them or even ourselves to engage such thing because no people doesn't really like to have money or earn money on bitcoin.This is really the advantage or goodness why bitcoin is popular.Its a new way payment system and at the same time a money making opportunity.

Yes, you speak the truth my friend. I think there are new things to be updated on bitcoin like lowering transaction fees, increasing transaction speed and so on. But still bitcoin is good currency to buy and sell product with, and we know for sure there may be some updates in the future that might settle the current issues with bitcoin. As we go through time many people will demand these updates which may lead to their implementation on original bitcoin core.

i think we are in the right path to fix what it need. i am sure that the dev still working on to fix the problem existing especially with the transaction fees, speed and others. but what i see here is there are many of us is believe that bitcoin can help them to make money and i think this is the reason why they join in bitcoin. beside we are true believer with bitcoin, we also know that the price will climb up and bitcoin can replace paper money in someday if everything is done to be fixed.

I can spend my salary in the real world with real money and I can also spend BTC that I got from online world then use it in BTC trading and get the benefit

In fact people use bitcoin to invest because most people see the increase of bitcoin’s unstable price that immediately jumped so high, people won’t use it like currencies because if so bitcoin wouldn’t be possible to have soaring selling price as it is now. In my opinion basically it’s used for investation of future because it can improve our financial or maybe we can become a future millionaire because of investing in bitcoin while the selling price is very high.

you and I won’t know how true for us to use bitcoins, but maybe you and I have chosen bitcoin path by joining in this bitcointalk forum, you and I indirectly have put half of trust for bitcoin by using it or seeking it.
