Based on my research there are lots of experts says that there will be a big suprise happening 5 years from now in the company and management of bitcoin.
They will become number one again as usual but the market value of bitcoin will rise again and it can double or triple the current price last year which is very good news for the bitcoiner.

bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much

in 5 years bitcoin will be gone, there will be just some zombies around telling everyone its valauble and want to steal something for it, because also the current fiat currencies from which bitcoin is leeching its value will loose their trust

there will be 668.000.000 other out of thin air cryptocurrencies around that garbage the internet with their "information",

and the bitcoin pyramid of electricity & resource wasting, tx fee scam, and pseudo asset vault will cry like a bunch of cats over it,

I think bitcoin in 5 years or after 5 years is somehow very progressive in a way that bitcoi  today is the best way to earn money. And also if you don't have any jobs or something like you need a financial support, all you have to do is to work hard and be responsible in every work here in bitcoin then after 5 years you will be rich too.

I think Bitcoin will become a global currency within 5 years and it will dominate the currency system. not only that but also Bitcoin could be the best currency for payment purpose. already Bitcoin has made a positive impact on the virtual monetary platform.
If you want to focus on the price mechanism then I believe that Bitcoin will grow up at least 12% of the current price, In recent time Bitcoin has a market is not up to the mark but it will bring a good amount of price in the coming year. We are all aware that bitcoin has grown bigtime at just a short span of time and we have all witnessed it this year where bitcoin's value has grown a lot even after being banned in China. We can expect more in bitcoin in the next few years but we should always remember that bitcoin will experience its downfall somewhere after being in the top. Maybe after the next 5 years, bitcoin will be legalized or maybe it will be gone, nobody really knows.
