it seems you never heard from multi-coin pools ? Smiley
There are about 3 big multicoinpools with huge hashpower.
They are always switching to the coin with the lowest difficulty or highest profit-ratio.
That is the explanation the the jumps.
Business as usual.

you dont have to avoind FST. If you are just for the winning in mining then offcourse you could better coins.
But i would suggest that you should invest a bit in FST. It has potential for a 10x increase of worth.
The risk-reward-ratio is damn good, there not many coins which offer this.
It is because FastCoin has some unique benefits over other coins.

There's something very strange happening today.
FST's difficulty is constantly jumping up and down.

Sure, all this things are terrible.
mulltipools are evil.
When diff on FST drops - they are in, with really big hashrates, thing 1gh or more, so my pool for ex. having about 60-100 mh just had all blocks orphaned for at least 300 blocks, while diff will raise and multipools switch to another 'victim coin'.
Think we need change diff retarget algo on fastcoins for eliminate such jumps.

Anyone know what could be going on here.

A transaction was sent out a few days ago from MiningPool.co and has yet to turn up in the miners wallet or on the block chain.

{
    "amount" : -242.87322998,
    "fee" : 0.00000000,
    "confirmations" : 0,
    "txid" : "3532400f062702583c496cce224cf96a644530d68a28cb3628c39430034d522f",
    "time" : 1386070503,
    "details" : [
        {
            "account" : "",
            "address" : "fnzNNi4Ubd9zRLiyBLhUcJRD95i4Uszjtf",
            "category" : "send",
            "amount" : -242.87322998,
            "fee" : 0.00000000
        }
    ]
}

Is it possible for a transaction to just get lost? I can't remember this happening before, ever.

If you are having problems resyncing, you can simply create a new folder named backup under your %appdata%/fastcoin folder and move all the files into that folder. (except your wallet.dat file)

Open up your fastcoin.qt.exe and wait for the main window to appear. (Might take a minute.)

You can click Help > Debug Window and review the current amount of blocks that your client has downloaded.

I've just brought 400 FST, but ever time I try to download the client (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B37Llt3dDAzHWUQ2VENySHcxMG8&usp=sharing) it says "that the image is corrupted. Are you sure you want to open it" or something and then it wont let me open the program. I've deleted and reinstalled. Any ideas? Are there electronic LTC wallets?

And can you mine FST on a MAC ?

I have solved the problem adding on %appdata%\Fastcoin a fastcoin.conf file with these lines:

addnode=71.171.90.204
addnode=172.219.27.30
addnode=88.60.62.215
addnode=124.170.3.229
addnode=70.71.0.93

Thanks and regards,

Are you sure? Im running this pool. All stats there are transparent. You can easy check all with blockexplorer.
If comeone need - can give all transactions log from pool wallet - you just see there a lot of orphans, thanks to multipools Sad nothing more.

Upd: just checked, see this file http://www.zabmail.ru/trlist.zip
its dump of last 1000 transactions fro pool wallet, as i see - at least 40-50% of all generated blocks are orphaned. Most of them did never seen in pool stats because of pool algoritm, to get into stats there must be at least one confirmation before block orphaned, but most are do this immediatly after submitting to network. Pools with only 50-100mh can't fight with GHs multipools. So you will never get this amount of coins which calculated for ideal conditions. Its not because of
bad wallet network connectivity - ive use modified to 128 out and 128 in connections fastcoind for my pool, on very fast connection, doesnt help Sad

I can confirm that!
Mined one night long (about 10 hours) and got only 65 FST @ 750 kh/s! It's ridiculous.

Btw. I love Fastcoin. I really hope it'll get big.

But please, can you remove the first logo in the first post? It's really ugly Grin

Edit: Something strange happend when solo mining Shocked I got a reward of 32.40 which first came up in the Fastcoin Client and then suddenly disappeared.

In my debug.log I found this:

Code:
hash: 000000008f7613748096cd2e988ff8d5733705631e8dab7ec2adcc7f19cc468f
target: 00000001421c0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

[...]

CTxOut(nValue=32.40000000, scriptPubKey=0379b08860b8ed246de5654df38162)

[...]

generated 32.40

I can post everything but it's very long (the parts replaced by [...]).

Can you tell me what went wrong?

What you can confirm? my pool scam ?
I do not understand how you can blame someone else stealing your money without at least learning how all working before.
As i already said, all pool stats are transparent, you can easy check all blocks with explorer. Pool wallet are easy to be checked there for all generated blocks.
Try solo mining and you will never get calculated amount now (if you dont have 500-1000mh, but also will kill your income because of diff jump). Think youll get only 20-25% of possible coins. Try listtransactions command in debug window of your wallet and you will see that your solomined blocks simple orphaned.
Main fastcoin problem for now is called profit switching multipools. Becaue of generally low FST diff they can make few blocks chains very fast and ignore some rules. ie if normal pool submits one block they simple making same block and next one very fast, then submit this 2 block chain to network -
prev one are orphaned. When diff increases too high for FST to be profitable compare to some other coin - multipool leaves network and on high diff general pools can make some blocks.

Sorry. I don't wanted to attack you or your pool! It was only my experience. Maybe something went wrong. I've only expected more FST I got in other pools.

But I never wanted to confirm that you steal something. I only confirmed that I got less FST I'd expect.

However, something could went wrong over night (lost internet connection or somethin). Again: sorry.

No one??

This is quite concerning. I have never seen this behaviour with any other coins.

Has now happened to another transaction also, while many other transactions have been confirmed without problems.  Huh
