For me it seems impossible to mine in the smartphone might be damage your phone. It's pretty good on the PC because the PC specs are great for its hardware so it's better to PC and there are plenty of scams in mining that is legitimate.

I once did mining in mobile phone, through MinnerGate application.
the maximum speed I've ever got is only 25-30 h / s, that's very small.
with such small results and not making a profit because it is not worth the cost of internet and can make the smartphone slow, then I stop using it.

I am interested in using the mobile phone for mining. If I can dig with old phones, it would be better. It would be a reutilization function, which sounds good.

Of course  we would because mining cryptocurrency using android or IOS phone is much easier. Now we can mine cryptocurrencies even if we are not at home. And we can link it to our personal computer to mine more tokens or coins.

I am running electroneum mining app n my mobile. it generate about 10 coins a day. which is financially a very small amount. But the app seems stable. phone does not get heated. So i think it is a proof that mbile mining is a reality . The hash rate is seems to be fixed as i have tested the app of few devices. All three are showing 30 H/s . Which also mean that the network contribution is also equally distributed and everyone has a same stake (But nt quite sure n this as i have tested app on almost similar devices)

I don't know why people think this would work, it just like asking a motorcycle to do the work of a truck, there is always one or two trade off in most of these tech, using mobile device to mining is a complete waste of time because you can't expect thesame level plain field with other miner systems people are using

I don't think it is worth to mining on Mobile Phone.  If you do this you will probably have to buy a new smartphone soon)

Given the size of the income and the risk of disabling the expensive device (it is better not to use it cheap for this), it is not profitable to engage in production. A similar situation with obtaining a crypto currency on a tablet with any operating system. Prospects for such activities are also few - no more than allowing "to really earn" online games, clicker programs and services for viewing and reading advertising for a few cents.

Mobile phones mining like a game. I don't see any perspective, because mobile phones are not very reliable so it will need a lot of time to maintain them.

according to my opinion mining on mobile device is just a time wasting process. if you know anything about mining process then you easily understand that the mining of any cryptocurrency we require high level graphic cards which are not available in any mobile device so according to me its not feasible to mine any cryptocurrency on mobile device.

This one is dangerous, your phone will be crashed as you mining. Because the phone can't handle the weight of the application for mining which will lead to damage the ram of your mobile phone. So better to buy personal computer with a great specs than use your phone to mining.

I do not believe in mining on a smartphone, I think that this has no future.
Now even on the asics very low profitable.

there is no smartphone that can mine to stay smooth in the long run, limited power and ram also potentially damage the hardware in a short time, if there is technology that can create practical solutions then still will not guarantee the user's smartphone to not be damaged, the bigger the mined block then the harder the system works on the device.

Makes sense. I didn't read very far back up this thread but I'm sure someone might already have pointed out that you could actually use a mobile phone realistically to mine PoS coins even if the wallet only ran in the background. This is very low electricity use and with all the new phones coming up with blockchain enabling, I foresee many mobile users would even become nodes and help secure PoS coins.

If it is possible to mine 250 hashes in 1 or 2 minutes...then do not tell me that it will cost much electricity.

Yes, that would actually be very good if we can mine using out phones.    However, we should have very powerful phones with very high specifications in order to solve complex strings of codes.
