I agree mobile mining  is now a trend. Regarding the ability of a mobile in doing mining compared with the desktop logically must have a much different. But not a few developers are competing to make adjustments in mobile mining innovation. I think it is very stupid to create altcoin for mining on a mobile phone, it is like people trying to mine on a low-end laptop, it is not very profitable and your smartphone will be useless when you needed for making a phone call since mining will suck the battery life of your phone

Mobile phone becoming more useful in many tasks but mining on mobile phone is lame. Currency mined on smartphone would be very cheap and useless probably.

Mobile mining App today are hoax and are just helping people to believe that there's and App that can possible mine a crypto but if you're going to sum up the result would be you're not getting any amount out of it. besides, mining actually needs more power that's why dedicated miners will require heavy duty power.

Is it even possible? mining on the phone is the core not to weak? It is difficult for the most PCs and they cannot do it good, why a phone should do it right

Mobile mining is so stupidly because you will earn max 100$ for 1 year and it's broke your hardware.

I think that there is not phones for mining operations, they are with the wrong video chips! But maybe soon the mobile blockchain will be an inventived and then appear "light coins"!

Mining on mobile phone? i don't think it will be worth it. Mining is really tough job and even computers remain incapable on mining at the present time.

Also almost whole mobile phones have battery issues. They are insufficient even in daily usage. This is an unnecessary risk in my opinion.

That’s an issue, which has been discussed multiple times and will be discussed forever, however, I would like to remind everyone that mining is only for sufisticated hardware and not for mobile phones.

When mining in a smartphone you should understand clearly that:

- If it is a smartphone of your own than you would be unable to use it as anything except mining, otherwise it will bring you little or no income. So no Internet, Gaming or Phoning... Forget about it

- The phone battery will be worn out in no time - the battery cannot be overused - otherwise it will loose it’s capacity.

- Cooling - chipsets on mobiles aren’t at all aimed at working on the top of it’s speed for 24/7. This you will have to provide special coolling for that. Otherwise the phone will get overheated and might be damaged (or can even blow up)

- Android and iOS systems can be uploaded to professional computers which would easily outperform regular smartphones

The list can be continued, but you see the point - mining is for computers, not for phones.

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?

I will not do it, it will only burden the phone and will make the phone becomes damaged quickly, because the phone is not designed to do crypto mining.

I don't think mining on the mobile phone is profitable keeping in view the complexity of problem which miners have to solve. I tried MinerGate but it wasn't anyway near to profit. It may be profitable if you have too many mobiles making a mining farm and on that, you mine some low-value coins.

I think the only way that mining on cell phones could work is if you could limit the mining to just cell phones, so the difficulty could be appropriate to the capability of cell phones, but I don't think that's possible. I don't know how you could prevent someone from CPU / GPU mining the algorithm, in which case the difficulty would skyrocket and it would not be worth mining on a phone. If cell phones used a unique processor that you could design a specific mining algorithm that could only be used effectively by cell phone processors, and you could limit the max hash rate per machine, you *might* be able to do it, but if there's money to be had, someone will try to figure out how to hack it. Either that or you would see an announcement from Bitmain within a few months: "Cell-phone ASIC; hash-rate equal to 3 thousand Samsung S8s, using only 50 watts". Boom.

I doubt that there is a crypto that can be mined by a mobile device and even if there is it will not be profitable regardless of the mobile devices specs because it will always be a fraction of a GPUs raw performance. Also the mobile device would only overheat because of the stress and heat that the hardware will do while mining.

mine on the phone allows also can be done, but for the life of the phone is likely to
be damaged quickly because the cpu is used continuously in use on line,
most advised to use a computer that has a high vga to be more durable.

it will be really very fun to see mining on mobile phones though it is not possible in the current time as the processing power needed cannot be provided by a smartphone whether it be an android or an ios it is not possible currently and also another factor is the power consumption which cannot be provided by any regular mobile battery

I know an altcoin that is capable in this, its Electroneum. Its mobile mining as of now is live. And it gives a hug amount of rewards with a high hash rates. And also you can get interest if your referred friend withdraws mined electroneum directly to its wallet.

If I'm not wrong, you can mine Monero as well, I actually had mobile mining rig that would fit in a backpack, consisting of 35 phones. I would simply get my backpack, head to a cafe, plug it in and mine freely... It started not to be very efficient lately so I disassembled and sold it.

Thats true , you can now mine using your phones, but  personaly I think that mining on our phones or iphones will not be worthed, and pretty sure it will take much time or just waste your time.

I think it is possible but it woould took a lot of time before getting the profits it is still preferable to mine on pc because you can put a lot of GPU unlike with mobile phone it is fix and you cannot change it

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?

I think that is a good way to earn coins too but I think it will be too hard on your phone especially when mobile phones have little battery, and also it will be taxing for the phone to be always running a mining software. Maybe you could get your coins, but would it be worth it?
