This idea simply can't work, for a lot of reason, so I don't understand why so many people insist to discuss about it.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I'm not sure it's even possible because of high mining difficulty of almost all coins right now
Maybe some sort of coin mined exclusively on mobile phones?

This can make about $10-$15 a month depending on which Cryptonight coin you choose to mine.
You will agree that the amount is very ridiculous?)))
I believe that no sane person will do this on your phone!

I think using a cell phone to mine crypto is a stupid idea, first could kill your phone easily because your phone should work 24/7, both your phones do not have high performance, so it can generate bitcoin on top of mounts, and finally smartphone battery will soon fills up quickly and fills up with power, so it's very convenient unless you have thousands of smartphones.

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
Yes, if there's a way to mine in the both android and IOS phone then i do it. But give a specific solution if it requires a high specifications or just an application in the android or IOS phone. It will br a easy mining because even though you have a busy time or youre in the travel you will have mining because it is in the phone now.

I followed Electroneum for that reason, but they didn't release the mobile miner Sad
It would be great to see mining on mobile phones, but I'm not sure how secure that would be.

I think it will not happen, as you can see many mining rigs have used vga as a minimum requirement to mine altcoin and can not run on mobile devices. If it could happen then it would be a utopia

I think ETH is already doing that already. maybe you take a look at them and find out more about more. Mining on mobile would soon come to main stream half of the world population use mobile phone than computer.

I think it's fantastic Grin Mining on your phone is the same as mining on a calculator. And still there are people who believe in it.

I'm not an expert, but I see that mining - to be profitable - need a lot of hardware and big investments.
I'm very skeptic that you can have results with just a cellphone.

Older cellphones can have 20-30H/s (about $5/month, maybe more once market prices get back) mining Cryptonight coins and they spend 5-10w of energy. One could buy dozen of phones and make a "mobile" mining rig which can be profitable.
