Is this just a thread to talk people out of mining on the mobile?

https://nano-miner.com/?lcf
thats the best option i have seen yet, the topic is mining on mobile not why you shouldn't or can you.

I am mining just fine at 20%. And im plugged in at work. Never said i plan to run it 24/7 but still. I can get a direct payout without tx fee every hour.

My phone doesn't get hot like it does while playing games, or watching movies or netflix. I've never had anyone try to talk me out of doing either of those or tell me i cant plug my phone in any where, where ever i am at.

It is possible. But, the point is, how are you going to solve issues involving smart phones? Heating problems, insufficient memory and power. And on top of that, you can only mine a couple of dicimals per hour. Imagine this, if regular computers cannot cater mining, how much more on mobile devices. It is a waste of time and probably when your phone blasts, your mined amount cannot even replace your phone. This idea is totally crap.

Yes, of course. One of the largest plus of mining on mobile phones - it's mobility of phone, furthermore, almost all of us have powerfull phones and we don't use it power even on 50%, remaining 50% we can use for mining.

Mobile mining is a waste of time, really, smartphones are not adapted to it. There are problems with heat removal and low cell performance, moreover - low battery capacity. Its a joke, not real talk anyway Undecided

no bro, 50% is way too much. Just close everything and do 20% maybe 30% if it doesnt get warm

There are some apps for basically everything non-dagger. I currently use one of the phones to mine XMR while at the same time I'm using it as a wifi adapter for my rig and using the rigs cpu to mine XMR as well (with whatever little return I get. It's fun anyway). You can mine many cryptocurrencies on an Android phone but not bitcoin specifically.

Mining on phone is certainly possible, but I'm not so sure if it is efficient and profitable.
The phone may have problems with battery condition and overheating.

I agree, I use my phone to communicate, check my e-mail, surf the internet when I am away from home, I sometimes play games, but phone purpose is not to mine, for me.

You can mine on the phone easily if you set up a JavaScript CryptoNight miner on a webserver. There are a some projects on GitHub that you can use for newer coins like Electroneum, IntenseCoin or Sumokoin for example. Or just use CoinHive.

But you won't get much hashpower though. An iPhone 5 gets you around 3 H/s and a newer iPad around 10 H/s. Plus it is more likely that the permanent heat will damage the phone. So it's possible but not really attractive imho. Wink

seems quite interesting, but the mine on my phone is less effective and quite vulnerable to scam, otherwise the risk of battery power consumption is sucking enough that it can interfere with other applications, preferably in my opinion to do better mining with special tools. even if you want to do the mining then it should be with a high specification phone and adequate.

And the value of what you earn is less than the wear and tear inflicted to your smartphone.

+1
I see only one reason for mining at phones - decentralizing. Ofc it's useful for crypto, but I would not use a mobile phone for this. Mining in a few weeks kill the battery for sure. I suppose that it's possible only for those projects which provide a call/sms service. But it won't be a mining as it is.

How would mining on mobile phone really be possible? Hardware speaking it is impossible. If anyone promise you a fantastic mining experience on your mobile, you should know instantly that you are been scammed whether you agree or not. They may mine for you and send the minng reward to your mobile screen UI that doesn't mean it's your mobile phone that is mining!

I think mobile phone cannot do the mining process in altcoins or in bitcoin. It will take a large processor like in pc mining , and in pc mining they are using coolant so that the device that they are using will not go overheat. If mobile phone mining altcoins will be introduce it will take time and trial and error before they will launched it in public.
