Of course, this sounds very tempting, but it seems to me that this is unlikely. Which phone has enough power for this?
I am skeptical also with this idea. Mining on phone as I first heard it from electroneum or ETN got me curious. I do not think its very profitable, we know as it become older, difficulty also increases. I think its still better to mine with GPU's.

I think mining on mobile devices are worth when the eletronics hardwares are good and strong enough to sustain an decent amount power.
But the primary thing is to do not overheat the processor to do 24/7 mine

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
I think that it is hardly possible to create such a thing because miners and many CPU-owners may fake phone via virtual machine or Android emulator, can't they?

In the current crypto scene Electroneum could be the No 1 for mobile mining, although its mining is only simulated. But mining on phones simply does not make sense.

It can be done as a hobby. I don't think it would be a profitable thing.

Mining on smartphone is not smart choice. At present, there are thousands of cryptocurrencies, that means we have lots of way to earn them. Mining by phone might harmful your phone while not earn not much as other ways.

yes of course interested, how? can we make a profit or just waste time. What are the advantages of electroneum?
.. I'm also say a yes, and how? It's interesting if would be happened it makes another way for the access. I think many smartphone and iOS users excited for the launching for it. But people always surprised and appreciating for some advantages of things.

Yes, definitely. As I am the worker, I can not open my laptop all the time. However, by phone, gaining the most of it might be not efficient and might force the phone to work too hard.

Yes you can mine but the question is it still profitable when your phone will explode? I mean let's be realistic, we can't use our phone 24/7 and it needs high powered system that mobile phone can't have even the biggest RAM and ROM. Maybe the least we can do in our phone is just staking our coins even though there's a little chance of over heating but still if we can spare ourselves not to use our phone from mining or any related activities then don't do it.

it is waste of time if you are going to mine popular cryptocurrency but also if you are going for new one then also ,it will overheat your phone if the algorithm is not phone suitable, recently there are new project such as electroneum and phoneum who are introducing new idea of mining but let see how community support it .

That would be nice if someone could really make a profit through mining in smartphones, i heard Samsung made their s5/s4 into crypto mining though I'm not sure what model but they said it was efficient in electricity.

Real mining from phone will never be real. You cant even mine with your CPU, let alone mobile CPU. But I like the idea of electroneum mobile mining. It is only a simulation. And the coins distributed will be the other form of airdrop to reach global adoption

Electronium - cryptocurrency has adopted for mobile mining I think. But I don't understand why it is not possible to use GPU/CPU miners for this puprposes and how they can manage this. My view that mobile mining it is marketing tricks only.

mining is an activity which is nice but I think it would be great if using a pc because in addition to being used for mining then can also be used for bounty and other activities.

I'm interested, but I'm afraid this is impossible. Bitcoin mining entails the solving of complex mathematical problems, during which the miner races against others—and against time—to find solutions. Profiting requires a large amount of electricity and cooling. Therefore I think phones cannot meet those requirements of bitcoin mining.
