Ico's are not scam, there are only a few which are scam, but every investor can be clever enough to understand which ones are the scammy ones.
It is not difficult to do so, you need some experience about this.

Most of the ICO are scam, a lot of money has a bad lost, and those with less money do have a good future, but they are taken for granted.

It will still depend on the ICO. Many ICOs are already introduced these days but many of them are scam and now, almost few ICOs are legit. For you to prevent scam, have a research first regarding the ICO you are planning to participate with.

maybe several percents of ICOs are legit, but the most part of them are scams
The only problem is I don't think for sure which one is legit, all the checklists can only identify obvious - maybe 50%

There's a lot of ICO there. But be careful when choosing a project. We may never know whether it is a scam. It's a bit of a risk.

A lot of members here know that most of ICOs are scams. But I've learned that ICOs in the site icodrops are legit. You can check it out and see for yourself. I trust the site and it's reputable than any ICO listing or rating sites out there.

I can recommend ICO Titanium. You can find the link in my signature. This is a project that stands confidently on its own feet. It has a good clever team and an understandable position. They understand what they will do next and how they will do it. I think the sale will soon end as they have already 25,000,000 dollars.

Probably from the existing ICO, 80% is a scam. If you want to invest look for ICO that has a good concept, has a product, a team of developers who are experts in the field, advisors who are experts in the field, and managers who have widespread trust.

ICOs are a legit and good way to make a lot of money in a short time although now with so many ICOs out there which are so painfully obvious that they are scams because their projects have absolutely nothing to offer in the real world, it is getting harder to actually trust ICOs and put money into them but when you find a good one, they are well worth the money you put in.

There are many scammers. This industry is still very young and there are no laws that completely regulate it. Therefore, scammers can easily find ways to deceive investors. Unfortunately, now this situation

ICOs are still a good way to make profit but just be careful when you pick one out to invest in as there are a lot of ICOs out there ready to take off with your money

Ico's are legit, but you need to check all the information about their teams, websites, whitepaper, and social media accounts. If the bounty proves that they can do many things for the community. If they have many followers in their twitter account, then many people trust them. That's my own opinion on how to know if that bounty is a scam or legit.

Lets say it is very risky to join in ICOs. But we know that it is also gambling where we need to gamble weather we win or not. If they are not scam then it is good for us but if they are scam them better luck next time. Thats life anyway.

99% of ICOs are designed for one purpose only - and that is to enrich the creator(s). In other words, yes, most of them are scams.

As ICO develops more and more, even every day there is a new ICO. Surely it opens up opportunities for the existence of scam ICO, although only a few. And there certainly is and many ICO's are legit to follow, therefore we must be wary of choosing ICO. To be able to find a legit ICO you have to read and search the whole information through its bounty thread. You can understand the background of ICO being held. Starting from the concept, theme, topic, purpose, benefits, fund supply, website, whitepaper, related teams. That way, we've minimized the risk of getting stuck in a scam ICO.

The kind of ICO you chose to venture in matters a lot, There are a lot of good ICOs in the market with proper project plans and are very legitimate, This however doesn't mean that they are all good, There are als0 scams, one should be very careful when  dealing with ICOs, proper investigation should therefore be done before committing into ICOs,

ICO is something like an organized movement and fundraising. It is not regulated by any laws, which is why there are a lot of scammers and beginners who are not afraid of failure and can safely bury what they have accumulated.

Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.
Cannot tell if an ICO is legit or not. Before dedicate to join an ICO. I check is the team, their previous business experiences.

Some are scam, but some are good projects, you just need to make research do find really good projects, and then hope that investors all over the world will also invest. I invested in Ambit Mining ICO, it is very good project, one of the best.
