I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Ofcourse it's not. Although investing to bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies has their own risks it is not considered gambling since its does not purely rely on luck. Investments and trading whether bitcoin or not requires skills, time and effort where as in gambling in return of the risk you can earn alot per game. You used your money to invest without strategy, you are playing gambling and of course, you are also a gambler, can not call you a trader. Depend on your thought, you can become the trader or gambler in the cryptocurrency market. It does not mean the nature of this market can helps you avoid the situation you can become the gambler. |

Well, investing in Bitcoin is should not be considered as gambling if the person is spending his time in doing the appropriate research before investing. However, if someone is not doing any research and directly putting his money with the expectations to get good returns on his capital then I will call it a gambling because there won't be any scientific base for such investment and gambling is nothing but to put money in some system (we call it games for our entertainment) having unpredictable random outcomes.

in every investment is risk,so do all this gambling.bitcoin is currency and digital currency,It is beneficial have to invest in this side and man can get benefit. so i think it is not gambling. |

For me if you will invest your money to bitcoin its gambling because you invest your money that you dont know if it will give you profits or not thats is what you call gamble. |

Those person who think it was gambling, They did not really understand how bitcoin really works and it was a huge disadvantage for them, Maybe if those person who hate bitcoins will be oriented well on how to earn profit in this industry then i think they will be rushing to invest. |

Bitcoin is definitely not gambling. Its a decentralized virtual currency. It can be used as payment in gambling or other online payment. But bitcoin per se is not gambling, its a currency. Maybe those people that think bitcoin is gambling are those who really dont understand its nature.

Many people thought like that because they don't have the vision of the whole thing. Also they don't have the knowledge about bitcoin so the fact that they think bitcoin is more like a gambling thing is acceptable and expected

It's a form of currency. People consider bitcoin to be gambling because they take only the fact of volatility in their mind. So it's subtly like gambling for them as it's taking a chance for a getting a shot at earning quick cash. Don't heed any attention to them as bitcoin is a valuable currency that is earned by hardwork. |

I guess it is not in a casino type of way, but in some sense, it kinda is. You invest your money on it. Thinking about the risk of the price drop or the earn when it spikes. Really, it is gambling coupled with an educated guess. With every investment (even if you invest your time and money) you see, there are risks to take. You cannot remove it from the equation. So, plain amd simple, investing in Bitcoin is not "gambling" but it is risk taking. |

You are right, bitcoin is not gambling games, it is digital currency and some people calling it as digital asset, the people whom said that bitcoin is gambling, they doesn't understand about bitcoin, they said bitcoin was gambling without learning first about the bitcoin, they are fear to something new technology of bitcoin especially related with the money be invested into the bitcoin. |

In my eyes a gamble and an investment are the same thing. They are both using money to get more money without certain odds. Therefore, Bitcoin is a gamble. However I believe it to be a less of a gamble than many other ways such as sports betting.

It's not gambling it's just a cryptocurrency. We are investing in it and investments are not gambling. It's like when we invest in share market and shares of that company goes up and down but it is not a gambling. Like that only Bitcoin is not a gambling it's an investment platform . According to me there is very much difference between gambling and Bitcoin.
