I love Ethereum. Most of the ICOs are based on Ethereum. It has a long standing future. Ethereum is here to stay

Bitcoin is still better than Eth because it is the pioneer in this industry and it has proven that everyone can become successful in this investment. Eth is also good because it can be an alternative if anything not so good happened to bitcoin. I will definitely continue to invest on both of them.

From an investment point of view it is good to have both. They are two entirely different animals as everyone knows and bitcoin comes with a lot of legacy and protocol challenges but is still the  coca cola of crypto. That will always drive market value. For me both of them are good to invest, also having both of them give you a lot of profit even bitcoin is much higher than ethereum in value while ethereum is lower in price than bitcoin because bitcoin right now is expensive. Also many people get interested in both of them, so that the value is mostly rise in the market.

I agree that they are both valuable, the only thing not to like in Ethereum is that the network starts to slow down when there is some sort of good ICO. Developers will have to do something.

Both are going to stay near the top for different reasons, BTC in my mind will be tough to ever topple simply because of public adoption and awareness. Will the everyday person invest in anything other than what they hear in the news, will my parents, uncles and aunts, grandparents be investing in similar purpose coins in LTC, XLM, MIOTA etc. If you think of it that way, BTC will always be the home brand and once they roll out Lightning, it'll be much faster and the biggest pain point of slow transactions and high transaction cost goes out the window.

For Ethereum, so many great projects are working off of their platform now, so they'll also be a powerhouse in the crypto field for the long haul because of dependency. If they end up rolling out Raiden Network, similar to Lightning for BTC, they'll also shut down the critics who don't understand that the projects are still evolving.

I don't think you can go wrong with either if you're looking for stable, safe investments. I'd invest a little in both if you're undecided and it also serves to safeguard against putting all your eggs in one basket.
