Monaize provides entrepeneurs business accounts easily.  They are Fintech and are integrating cryptocurrency technology.  They have an already working product, and I do not know of any other B2B services that are offering what they are in the cryptocurrency sphere.

Due to the hammering out of these issues we are erring on the side of caution we are asking citizens within the United States or Singapore not to participate as it may violate the laws within those jurisdictions. That responsibility lies with those citizens, as this will be the first token sale to be done in a truly decentralized fashion. When people participate in the dICO they will be purchasing tokens directly off of the blockchain using the Komodo Platform's decentralized exchange "BarterDEX".

As a business we plan to operate within those countries and many more, but this will come at a later date, once we get the project underway within our two "pilot" nations. Market cap is hard to anticipate as this is largely based on the market!

The reason is that currently France and the UK are the only two countries that we are going to operate within at launch, as mentioned in the main post. This will not effect the dICO as this will be our "kick-start" towards expansion.

One of the things that we want to do initially is to truly introduce fiat to the blockchain. Initially we intend to use it in ways that are very familiar to those who are in the crypto-scene. Initially to raise funds, as was mentioned, but after that we will be using it in much the same way that cryptocurrency works currently. To pass finances within branches - Think of it like the current uses of crypto, except for using fiat. Of course, we are going to be only able to use it to transfer into other Monaize branches. Of course, this all needs to be cleared by our legal team and local governments, but we are confident that we will be able to work things out as we intend to do this using the correct channels.

Additionally due to the nature of the Komodo Platform, and our partnership with them, we have the capability to store databases on the blockchain. So immutable client information can be stored in a fully encrypted and secure manner. We are also provided with a ton of other developments being partnered with the Komodo Platform, due to their white label platform, we intend to fully use every aspect of the blockchain that we can as we move forward.

To make a much more complex process short, we want to put fiat on the blockchain to start. And explore the other potential uses of this technology as we expand our partnerships through successful experiences within our two initial jurisdictions.

We are happy to have you along! This is not exactly a coin to mine until we really get this asset chain going. At that point we will help others to mine it if we indeed split completely from the KMD blockchain, but this is just in the roadmap - the best way to participate is to buy into the dICO on November 10th or get involved with our bounty campaign.

I understand your hesitancy and concern friend, but I think you are thinking of our token as more of a fair launch cryptocurrency. This is a very interesting avenue as a project like this hasn't really been done before. We are kind of more like an ERC 20 token except without Ethereum. Its going to be like a much wilder and crazy version as we are based on top of Komodo using cutting edge technology.
At some point our tokens will have many more use-cases but for the time being they are going to be issued "at will" for whatever use-case we need to issue a block for such as storing data on the blockchain or something. Some day we will break off and take flight from the main chain, but for now, think of it like merged mining with KMD.

Did you download 2.0.32a-beta? I can assure you that in Win10x64 it works without any glitches, just do not rush, it takes time (5-6hrs for me) to sync all the blockchains you have chosen.

You would not need a wallet to participate in the first decentralized ICO, Komodo team will issue a specialized app where you would just need to install it and use as a regular electrum wallet.

There will be no mobile wallet yet although, as I remember it correctly, there is something in the works.
And no, paper wallet would get you nothing but a ... cold storage. You can do a lot of things with it, including trowing into strangers on the street, but that would not get you participating into any ICO. Just hold on for now and wait for some news from the Komodo guys in a week or two.

I agree with your idea. This project is talking about things that exist, not possibilities. Monaize is great project. my only concern is that the komodo wallet is having trouble. a wallet will be published soon and we will join Dico with this wallet.

For what purposes will the MNZ token be used? At the moment, only for the implementation of the loyalty program? I.e. the actual working application of the token on the platform is not present and, probably, will not be. If the token does not have an application, it does not cost anything! This is a trinket for the sake of taking money through the ICO.

By your calculations if it just reaches the minimum cap,  you would be making approximately 6x your investment.

Also future/current use cases could require or at least accept MNZ token to use.

So best case scenario you make 6x if you hold and MNZ team hits its goals.
Worst case scenario ,  you 60% ROI from rewards alone ( and this is assuming Komodo doesn't maintain its upward price trajectory ) and you still have all your coins to use.

Also the MNZ team can proceed a lot faster raising 10k vs 1k .

This sector will benefit greatly and is in much need of the services being offered, from this perspective to me it is a no brainer. Yes, it can and it has been announced as POW algo = Equihash as written at the first page of this thread but the reward is only 0.0001 MNZ reward for people who participate in securing network. There are 100 coins created for per million blocks mined .

I think it's important to buy and hold MNZ as future assets for your savings as I used to do with My KMD coins last year.

Just try the barterDEX. It does support several coins including upcoming ICO monaize and of course KMD. It generates KMD wallet address but I think it does not accrue interest.

You don't. The swing wallet is just a regular wallet for KMD. Unless you use Linux, try using Buildog's BarterDEX. It's suppose to work with MNZ and BTC, KMD, REVs or whatever daemon you have running atm. Please do not forget, Komodo uses atomic swap protocol, meaning you need to run all the coins at the same time (yes, including full BTC node, unless it's in electrum mode).

To answer your question is this . I firmly believe that BarterDEX will be the place of exchange. Don't you think so. Eventhough the ICO is ongoing you can readily exchange it to whatever crypto BarterDEX can cater.  But it is only my opinion because it kinda common sense. Devs or people from Monaize can always tell otherwise.

While reading this... I really guess you need some more time to finalise the token sale and technical implementation. I am really convinced from the idea of Monazie and the Komodo platform and how the team planes to archive all the milestones. However, it seems really hard for a non-tech guy like me to figure out how to participate in a dico like this at all. Im afraid this will lead the first "d"ICO to become something complicated instead of something innovate, what it is actually ment to be.

I remember previous ICOs where you had plenty of time to also study the ICO tech besides the actual white paper. I actually haven't seen any "manual" accesible to a "non Komodo involved" part of the future community. So of course, declaring the 6 hour bonus for KMD as a benefit for the KMD community is a reasonable approach to benefit current coin holders. However, the wide mass (which definetely has to occour since whales are ""blocked"") will be informed very late and will therefore probably pass on this opportunity due to the FUD of entering to late.

However, dont get me wrong, i will definetely be investing in this dICO but i just ment to point out some concerns.

Besides actually making atomic swaps with dICOApp 0.5.6 and getting a small amount of MNZ, the postponement is great news,

Originally it was on November 10,2017 will going to have an ICO but due to dICO ux/ui problem the event was set to a later date. dICO needs a little tweak for more comfortable usage on non-technical person. Komodo team had a successful testing but due to the fact that outside users are not trained to go thru the technical process, non technical participants on the test cannot cope up with the procedures. Even I admit it is a little bit annoying to first run both native wallets of Komodo and Monaize that takes around four hours  to load (devs or somebody from komodo pls correct me if this is not consistent). On the technical perspective the test was smooth and atomic swap is the real thing . Komodo has done tremendous job, four years in the making. So better simmer down the FUDs.

I think you absolutely answered your own concern. While this has never been done, and then we have a significant concern about the quality of the swap application it is only logical that we don't proceed.

You are free to feel concerned about our ICO process, but it seems that you are very concerned about something that you claim to not care much about.
Please keep in mind we are working across multiple teams of people, who are international.

These decisions were not made lightly, this was something we thought we could do in time, as two teams working literally around the clock.

As for what we have done? We have created a platform which provides integrated automated KYC and the ease and comfort of opening a bank account for small businesses from home, and further being able to manage it from your phone.

It is not necessary, but we are sticking with Komodo as they are one of our partners. There are some changes coming that we will outline fully in coming statements. We understand the difficulty of everyone not being able to participate, but a ton of work has gone into the blockchain we already have and there will be more functionality forthcoming.

We are not in competition with Bankera as they do not provide B2B current accounts last time I checked. In comparison we provide only business current accounts for client companies as they are the most underbanked in the world. We currently have a working product as well, ours is simply in closed beta, streamlining the sign up process.
Another distinct difference is that we are not going to be based on another blockchain (either based on NEM or ERC20 as far as I can tell), and are going to be beginning with our own blockchain as an asset of the Komodo Platform.
Further, the ICO for bankera has already concluded if I am not mistaken, ours has yet to begin. Further we will not be providing exchange services to the general public. Our accounts will be the first to be a business current account with a built in cryptocurrency wallet.
Additionally it seems that Bankera does not exactly provide current accounts but instead will launch an exchange on top of its coin protocol.

They have mentioned in their telegram that they are updating it as we speak. There was an AMA a while back that was posted here that confirmed that the hardcap has been lowered from the original amount due to price fluctuations.

Further, there is really no lending happening here. Monaize is providing business current accounts. Similar to allowing for small businesses to get all their needed services from the app. They connect businesses with other lenders such as bit bond and other such partners. Please review the general business model before FUDDing around the thread.

In case anyone isn't paying attention, the longevity of this project should show something. If it was a scam it would have been a cash grab. The Monaize team is obviously trying to get things right before they launch. Otherwise we wouldnt see such delays

I have just missed the TEST dICO of monaize project so when does this dICO project launch ? I really want to join this dICO with my KMD coins.

I do not really know exactly when but it seems that Monaize dICO project is very very close to the launching time when Test dICO of Monaize has been successfully ended . I think you should be ready for this dICO now.

The second test ICO just went a day. It was allocated for a 3 day duration . That is how fast the test went through. My prediction with the real ICO will commence is that within 24 hours monaize token will be sold out. If that is the case then it is better to prepare.

They have said on Twitter that the testing is done and that they are in the final stretch for the real dICO.  Keep an eye on Twitter.  I'm sure they will announce a start date to give everyone time to prepare.  When they originally  announced the first dICO it was supposed to go 30 days I think.  I'm fairly confident they won't need to wait the full 30 days.

Participating the test ICO for monaize has boost my interest on it. It was as smooth as a breeze. Though actual ICO may vary , I am sure that can be tolerable for the team . Regulatory really hampers innovation and quite sad to see this happening. But I am sure that once the project push through it would be a win-win situation.

Same here. Felt like a year of waiting . Currently Monaize is holding a private sale . Long term indeed and I sure hope that the public sale will be opened sooner. With the market is ready to become bullish again, expect a nice short run.

After all this time, Monaize is still on my bucket list because of what is in store when it goes live. Though on telegram it is saying that it is on pre-sale, still no official time frame as to when will it launch its public sale.
