Currently i am mining on Bilbotel pool and they have paid me few amount of XSH to my Electrum XSH wallet address but even after 1 hour, i am unable to see any balance in my wallet & it is showing XSH. Is it due to blockchain problem or something else??

It's a problem most likely with the amount of electrum servers we have, and the way our electrum wallet is built, we will be working on this issue after the mayor updates of this week are over |

Is the balance safe because pool keep sending XSH to electrum wallet address and i see nothing there. |

If there is a tx with the transaction on your wallet you should recieve your coins when everything is fixed, if you want to know for certain you can put the tx in at http://188.226.178.216:3001/ and check if it's actually on the blockchain |

Its all about building a community, take example of xvg or dgb, they have huge community which helped those coins to reach the moon. Hope to see one big community backing Shieldcoin one day. |

So far I have mined a few thousand in a pool that won't even show my wallet address anymore. It didn't show amounts until I restarted. Now after restarting again, it shows zero amounts and my tx id and wallet shows nothing found on the explorer. Certainly not a good start for me on this coin.

The wallet is odd. And the block explorer is still syncing. Just have to give the explorer time to catch up. |

Interesting note about the Exchanges - there are open buy orders for 22 MILLION worth of XSH at 3 sats. The open sell orders at 4 sats is just 5 million XSH.
I had a theory that demand, then, was much greater supply and added to the 4 sat sell order with a small amount of coins. It was gone very quickly.
What this means is - there's no need to fill the 3 sat buy orders. If you just leave a 4 sat sell order open it'll be bought out pretty quickly.
There's not much of a risk either. It's not like the 22 million buy order will disappear. It'll be there indefinitely I imagine. But if you wait a little bit and leave an open order you can sell for 33% more - at 4 sats, rather than 3 sats.

Hard fork update Tomorrow, 17-10-2017, we are going to push the source update for the blockchain. This update will be fixing the blocktime and bringing it to 30 seconds which will decrease the amount of orphan blocks created by an incredible amount. The chain will get updated in a hard fork that will happen in about two weeks. We are delaying the hard fork itself so exchanges and pools have enough time to get everything ready for use and still have some sleep. After this hard fork we hope that the chain will be stable for a while. QT Windows wallet is still being work at and we're also contacting a lot of exchanges and pools.
The SHIELD team. I hope that it will be a good result.  |

Everything about this coin is very promising, and i think it has the potential to be a great privacy coin. Multi algo, POS, POW, TOR/i2p, high enough supply. seemingly dedicated dev and a nicely growing community/hype

Hey, We don't understand what you're trying to say with that. We like people mining but think it's first of all healthier if they coin gets mined a little less. Miners are now just selling everything they get for 3-4 sats and we think this could be holding the coin back from going up. More important than that is the orphan blocks being created at the moment. Orphan blocks may still get created after the hardfork but it'll be decreased from what it is now. Mining SHIELD at the moment is just a pain. Mining doesn't have to be stopped, we aren't against is. No, we're trying to make mining almost better and at least easier. If you do have any more questions about the hardfork you may always ask them. The SHIELD team. |
