I think it will survive until people believes in the technology. Since bitcoins can last indefinitely in theory, bitcoins will be relevant if there are people that are willing to buy and sell it. The 21,000,000 bitcoin cap is just the number of bitcoins that will go out in circulation. The part of mined block, is just actually rewards. Miners can still continue mining blocks even without rewards. I guess that's a good thing for us, since our transactions will still be written in the blockchain. But I don't think I'll live to see that day since it's so far away.

In my opinion, I think bitcoin will last as long as there are people keep on using it in transactions, payments, investments and so on and so forth and keep on interacting or navigating it. It will also survive as long as there is an internet connection for us to be able to post, read, answers and join in this forum. Bitcoin will not die if all of us or even most of us will trully support it and introduce it to others and ofcourse it will remain for so long and will not end if only we accept it. So I guess, bitcoin can survive for years or even century if we do all these things.

I think Bitcoin will stay around for a while, probably even after we're gone, it's the future of payment and the first proof of concept it's meant to stay and evolve.

The blockchain and the proof of work miner's hash power is the life support of bitcoin, as long as these two are still running then the supply and demand of bitcoin is still continue. If we let say that the popularity decreases for mainstream consumption but for enterprise and business modeling, bitcoin still continue to grow. We may say that there will be another crypto that will dominate against bitcoin but we will always remember that bitcoin was once the king of all crytpocurrency.

Pessimistically, It would survive for few years and as its influence getting overwhelming, majority of countries banned it and BTC go deep down from public.

Optimistically, BTC could survive more than 10 years, and since payment system had been revolutionized to be fully digital and blockchain based, in this case BTC might become the new gold for humanity.

It's still a long way to go for BTC, to ensure its survival, starting accepting bitcoins in your businesses now!

Have you guys ever think to how long is bitcoin will survive in this world ? Well, I mean is there anything that can make bitcoin bankrupt or low price, then possibly will make bitcoiners doesn't want to invest anymore. And also is there any solution to avoid those thing. Just wonder to know.

Hi OP, bitcoin will survive as long as there were lots of uses that who will continue to claim coins, no matter if it is low or high as long as they purchase, then the bitcoin will go to survive. The more bitcoin is used in society, business and daily life, the more it is the grantee that bitcoin will stay forever.

So if you ask my opinion, i will say that bitcoin will stay until i am alive  Smiley

Bitcoin will run for long, as long as people are collecting and patronizing btc, as long as bitcoin is in the market we do no have to worry. And as far as I can feel bitcoin is getting stronger and stronger. It gets high valued investors. So do not worry. Bitcoin is here forever and i am waiting for the day when bitcoin will be the only currency in the market.

There is also no problem to have bitcoin for me, but as of now that you also have said that countries have started banning it, yes its actually true that is why accepting bitcoin to some establishments as of now are being hesitated by so many industries, that is also one of the reasons why its hard for them to adapt bitcoin. For some people who are working to get it and also having a full time job, maybe its also a big advantage, investing some in bitcoin, while having fiats.

Maybe for another 10 years or more. Bitcoin is in the buzz lately and more people are pouring in as they are getting to know about it now. Bitcoin is dominating the crypto market right now without even a 10% of a competitor.
Well as for as I know bitcoin will survive for ever because bitcoin is one of the serious crypto in world and bitcoin know very well all coming challenges so bitcoin is aware and make himself strong bitcoin is also accepted by some develop countries and also more countries are going to accept bitcoin so which mean bitcoin can survive for a long time.

We can't really thing if how long bitcoin will stay on our side and how long it will continue to give profit to us. The only thing that we need to make sure is to enjoy the every little piece of our bitcoin and always grab the opportunity to earn bitcoin because it will become the reason for us to become successful and we also need to believe in bitcoin so the support will continue and the life of bitcoin will become longer.

So in short as long as there are supporters who are truly believing bitcoins potential and its capability, then bitcoin lives, but as far as i am concerned bitcoin as of now is at risk, because some investors or maybe few people got easily affected by news and other issues related to bitcoin such as banning it, and more negative effects that looks bitcoin as an illegal but it is totally not.

Maybe it will not last for too long because the market is so volatile, in the future there will be altcoin that will replace bitcoin which is possible.
I think bitcoin will stay alive even though altcoin is now very diverse, bitcoin will remain the highest coin exchange rate, when in the future altcoin skyrocket then bitcoin will be much higher skyrocket.

the market capitalization of bitcoin itself at least for now feel impossible to get disappeared and worth nothing , you can expect bitcoin would last for a year or so , i won't to say bitcoin would survive forever or long enough etc. just let's be relistic that the value of bitcoin have skyrocketed a lot of times to the highest in very short time , can we get the value droppped same as that short time skyrocket? i think it could happened too. so just becareful.

I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

It'll survive for a long time. I wonder though, what would happen if a government or major bank decides to launch their own cryptocurrency, and back it up with a lot of financial muscle that the Bitcoin community simply doesn't have. Huge advertising campaigns (I've never seen a Bitcoin commercial where I live), helping their customer base with the transition to digital storage of their monetary assets, releasing fool-proof and secure ways to transact unlike the ones we see today where you can easily screw up if you don't know what you're doing, etc. That's the only way I can see Bitcoin fall.
