to begin with i would say that the main question in this thread was written in October. but what about Storm ICO? it was extremely successful. i participated in its bounty campaign, and still i can't forget myself about selling my tokens, i didn't wait enough. although i made a very nice amount of money, but i could have earned much more than that. if only we could see the future sometimes)) and now i am waiting for gonetwork ico. it's a winner of EthWaterloo, World's largest Hackathon. i am sure this project will hit the exchanges and we'll see a very nice price of it)) so, yes, i believe in ICO)) but sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. that's life))

Me, for one still believes in ICOs because I think there's still new projects that is waiting to be crowd funded and waiting to be managed by real developers out there to be the next great coin in the market.

I still believe on the concept and usefulness of ICO. There are just some companies that are not reliable and make the image of ICO bad. Many of these projects are scams and I unfortunately got one of them. This coins are raw and have good potential to be like coins such as eth and btc. The problems with some companies are they want big money to begin with and they leave all of their clients afterwards. I hope that more and more companies sell legit ICO because i still believe in them and it is a healthy competition for the market.

I believe in ICO's that have a strong existing business and execution team.  Check out the ICO for RLCoin, an enterprise solution for loyalty: www.rlcoin.io.  The product has existing traction with 250 clients and partners in Europe and Asia.

Here many guys say they do not believe in ICO as many of them are fake. I do believe in these projects as some of them are really good and can bring investors big money. For instance, I am going to participate in Telegram ICO when it starts.

Why not believe in ICO? It's clear to everyone that fraud in the ICO is growing day by day, but no one forces you to participate in projects by force. You choose your project at your own risk. Therefore, everything depends on you. You need more responsibility in the selection of projects.

Yes of course i do believe in ICO projects. There are successful ICO project that were being done lately. These ICO projects were the basis in believing to it. Though not all of the ICO become successful since it depends upon the management or the team that work for it. Investors are there yet some investors did not feel any security with their ICO project that is why these investors will going to sell their tokens. As part of strategic planning for the succrss of the ICO project the team should not forget the importance of the investors who commit the project to be accomodated by the team and let them feel that there investment is secured. Just like yayproto where the team professionalism is there and as an investor I feel secured with my investment.

The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically.  Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017 and if anybody still believes in  ICO's.

not all
ICO is very fun to monitor its development
sometimes someone is ready to be ready when the ICO is a scam, then a lot of games to entertain the public by embarrassing the failure of the ICO

I believe in the idea behind them because we need to grow projects that otherwise would not be funded and there are a lot of areas where we can help the world, especially through blockchain. However, the ICO scene lately has become a frenzy to say the least and there are many projects that are leaning closer to zero potential than grand potential and that is a very bad sign. If maybe somebody could come in and regulate this scene, it would get rid of the scammers and keep only the real projects around, if only maybe somebody could regulate (SEC) Roll Eyes.

I realise this thread is an 'old' one, but yes, absolutely I still believe in ICOs. The market has definitely got tougher for the decent projects to get the attention they deserve with the volume of new (dubious) ICOs being released, but this doesn't mean they don't exist. It just means it has become increasingly important to do your research to find the best projects (not that it was ever not important - but it did seem at one point that anyone could release an ICO and raise millions of dollars with very little to offer). I tend to check the ICO review platforms first to find projects that I am interested in, and then start looking into them in more detail. Even if I decide not to invest, I still keep an eye on the ones I was interested in to see when they get released on the exchanges, as quite often I can pick them up at a better rate than I could in the ICO. Accounts on Huobi, Kucoin and other similar exchanges tend to be good for newly released coins - not too keen on HitBTC or Etherdelta, although they do tend to list coins quickly too.

Yes and will still believe more and more. Choosing the right crypto to invest is what you need if you are losing your faith. Just make sure that you are very sure about the crypto you want to invest. Read every documents they presented, the road map, white paper, lite paper. Every details of the team, if you can research for every person much better. Try also to read some comments of others investor so that in the end you will not regret everything. We are talking money here so you need to be 100% sure about investing.

Yeah I still believe in ico there are projects that are not legit and many more will be seen projects that you just choose to think they're worth it and do not forget to read their whitepaper so you have an idea on their project.

ICO has higher risk and higher returns. It's better than becoming someone else's bag holder. But on the other hand, BTC is still worth holding compared to any other coin in the market.

As hard as it is try not to be put off by the parasite ms in this space. The ICO revolution is almost as decentralising as the peer to peer consensus network. Never have retail investors been able to speculate on fledgling companies like we are seeing today. This was something reserved for Silicon Valley and not venture capital has been obliterated by this space. This is huge

Even though there's not much of that successful ICOs this year. I still believe in them because most of these ICOs are great new ideas that are trying to enter the market. It just means that there are many competitors out there that wants to prove themselves giving us new great projects to work with and to support. It certainly help the cryptocurrency's development and growth into moving forward to future digitalized currency standard.

Hello Mr "Full Member"! We should believe in 50% of ICOs. I think you know how to find out the best ICOs or non-ICOs. One of the best one now is Rebellious.
