I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?

Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?

Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!

Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!

Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?

My frustration is BIG.
your still not late when the price of bitcoin is around hundred dollar other people think there already late but other people still buying bitcoin
even when it hit thounsand dollar or five thousand dollar same scenario will happen but as you can see they still get a lot of profit
the price of bitcoin rise always yearly montly if you will just hold it for a long time 1 bitcoin will be a lot of money

I'm sure people said the same when they saw Bitcoin at $100 or when ETH was at $10. We've got a long way to go considering there hasn't even been mass adoption. Most people have only heard of Bitcoin and they only know the name, not the promising tech behind it and the other coins / tokens.

A few of the coins that cost a lot now were cheap a few years back - if you look now there are cheap coins and who knows if they will rise to be expensive in another few years. ETH and MONERO and others were unknown back in the day when it was just bitcoin and litecoin really.

So to answer your question - no its not too late in my opinion to dive in and build a portfolio - but dont go crazy lol Wink

The author, your question is rhetorical. Several years ago it was possible to buy cheap coins, and even earlier - cheap shares of Facebook, etc. The market is now arranged so that you can get rich at any time.

It is always not too late in trading and investing because there is no set limit for the price values of bitcoin and other digital currencies. If today bitcoin price value is $6000 then after 10 years it become $20000, are you going to regret again and cry out that why you did not buy bitcoin when the price at $6000 before? Therefore it is better too late than never.

Now is  better to invest Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Gold or Ethereum. Although coins are already slightly expensive but people are hoping that values will be higher after due time. This will make sense that cryptocurrency is pushing hard for the future.

This is neverending party Grin. You are not the only one that thinks he is too late. In the world of cryptocurrency word late doesn't exist. Everything is changeable and like you think now same thought the people before 5 years. Same will think in 5 years. BTC is always changing its value like all other cryptos and if it is too expensive to you now buy something cheaper( altcoin), invest and just wait and see why you will never be late to the party!
I think there is going to be a point where it is going to be too late, but right now is not that moment, we can invest in bitcoin right now knowing that the price is going to keep going up for the foreseeable future and that is good news for all of us since we are going to keep getting profits for a very long time.

This should be the idea. The market showed a good value incrementation during the last months, actually last year. Newcomers are not really late for this amazing free ecosystem.

Late in the blockchain world does not exist, my friend.
Yes, BTC and the altcoin with top30 market caps like ETH, LTC, DASH are really expensive, but we have a real chance. You can join the ICO or buy ALTCOIN, which is currently priced lower.
Speaking ICO, I think BANKEX is a very good choice.
