Yes, i'm afraid you are late to the party you're witnessing right now.  People are leaving, drinks are almost done and the music is about to stop.  But the good news is that there are new parties.  All you have to do is find them.  Don't go following people who give you flyers to those parties because flyers mean that the party isn't real.  You have to find it yourself by doing research on parties and where to find them.  That way you'll turn up on a party where the drinks are abunded, the music just started, you got a front row place on the dancefloor in the VIP area which is still cheaper than a drink.  Wait some weeks and you'll be selling your place in the VIP area for 1000x the price you paid.  Grin

Those new parties are quite scary, most of them will be short lived. I bought tickets for one and found that the organizers ran away with our money. Smiley That 1000x returns you quoted are definitely possible but the main issue is how to find such a coin. You will have to bet on 5 coins or more and one of them may be able to give such returns. Be prepared to loose your money invested in rest 4 coins.

I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?

Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?

Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!

Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!

Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?

My frustration is BIG.

What are you talking about? check the altcoin price last year, let say May and today.
this is perfect moment to join!

You are not too late for the party, instead you are in the perfect time to join the party, why? Because bitcoin is getting bigger and bigger everyday, that means you have a bigger and a brighter chance to become part of this successful community, all you have to do is to take some effort and believe yourself that you can make it.

Well, personally, I think that nothing else has been lost. You yourself say that during the year there was such a big rise, then you can think that in a year the cost will also increase several times. This is a fairly young market that grows gradually. And now we are still at its inception

Just let your mind do research before investing or doing bounties. Then you will get your profit here, small or big counts on your work and time

You are not late because the market is now at the bottom and on this you can invest, because I'm sure that by the end of spring the market will stabilize to previous indicators  Cheesy

The party has just started. The market is now gradually recovering from the dip. A lot of alts are now green. So don’t be frustrated ’coz the market will flow in its natural course towards full recovery. Just wait and see, starting May, things will look a lot brighter... Wink

I don’t think someone can be late for investing in this market full of potential opportunities. Because when there is a crash it’s always a potential rise. Or if everything is green try to sell your coins at peak and then buy back when they crash. That circle will never end.
It's late only if you're on your pension and have no money for everything, that's real late. But if you're living in your flat with the benefits of civilization - don't be shy to try something else.

My frustration is BIG.
The price of BTC and ETH are relative to the overall picture. Keep in mind BTC peaked at almost $20K so around $5K looks pretty attractive. Ethereum is just as solid and you can buy a lot more of it. If those numbers still scare you I would probably take a look at some ICOs. More risk involved but you can buy in for a few thousand and not get hurt too bad. Investing can definitely have its share of frustration.

You are perfectly timing.
The market just recovered from its bottom, it has only one way to go.
Join the party now or you will ask the same question again.
