Altcoins aren't dying, not even close. This blood shed is caused by the upcoming hardfork and surely, when the said fork will be over, these goins will also recover and soon pump. So better hold on to those coins and don't panic. This circumstance is normal in the crypto world so be wise and hold on.

Wait for the Fork update and hold the coins for a month or so, then it can teach you everything. I think you are new to trading and the Bitcoin price is moving ahead to the moon so thats the main reason for dropping altcoins.

I suggest to you wait for sometime and see how it move than altcoin in the market.

This is typical of every market! There are always ebbs and flows! Just got to try and time it and be on the 'right' side Smiley

Well it kinda looks like this now, but this is most probably because of Bitcoin hard fork that will happen in couple of days. I wouldn't worry too much, and I ain't even though I'm deep in red already with altcoins, but I have faith in those projects, and hopefully they will be back on track just after hard fork, and if not, for long term definetly a win and pure profit.

So just hold on to your investments, if you believe in projects and people involved in it.

This might actually be slightly worrying because this could means that new flow of money is not coming in fast enough for the cryptocurrency industry. BTC spiked only because investors pull out their shares on altcoins and that's not a good sign if we all want to see BTC x10 in the next 5 years for sure. It's not so much about the recent China ban and regulation but as a whole, we could definitely do so much better if China could get back into the game soon.

You're not seeing the bigger picture. Right now we are approaching a new all-time high when it comes to the total market cap. After the crash this summer the money is 'slowly' but surely flowing back into the market. So I'm not worried at all. Bitcoin is spiking because investors are pulling funds into bitcoin that's true but there's also new money flowing in.

They are not dying they are just red due to the massive rise in BTC and ETH over the past week or so. Give it until the old stainless steel eating rods have been finished and you'll see the alts rise again. It happened last time the fork happened.

If your investments are all in altcoins I'd advise that you stop looking at exchanges for a couple of weeks and then come back to see some green candles!

It is only because of what happened with China and ICOs. It resylted to major cryptocurrency downfall but it is already done. Most of the coins are now recovering and some have already fully recovered. It proves that all coins won't die just because of what happened. One good example is Bitcoin, which became more successful after the downfall.

I prefer buy alts after bitcoin fork. But if you have own research you can buy now. Everything is possible. Up and down.

Already similar such price movements were taking place with bitcoin as well other digital currencies. Recently during the week starting the entire altcoins were declining in value and bitcoin alone was found pumping. Later bitcoin cash started to pump while the rest including bitcoin went down. So, its all about the market move along with the upcoming fork.

People need to focus on coins who's product will generate revenue in the short term otherwise most will run out of money.  Some ideas are great but realistically implementation will take much longer than the money will last.  Exchanges are a relatively safe bet as they are something we all use.

When bitcoin price will go up to its high then all altcoin price will do down naturally. At this situation there no need to worry about the down price of altcoin it will be definitely recover after some time. It's trading market and it gives so many up and down. you have to stay and wait for big profit.Only this way big investor earn big reward for their investment. So keep a patience for long time bitcoin or altcoin holding.
