that is strange i have the same file but no virus, did the virus steal immediately all your coins?
no, not immediately))) I mined for several weeks at this address. The first incoming transaction 0.6 and all incoming transactions of 0.1 - it's all transactions from the pool. Perhaps this is because the import of one key takes about 2 hours, and there are many compromised users. Well, or the developers have a special sense of humor, and they first let me work for them before they steal everything. so he stole your coins after several weeks?

Anyone here who can help me with this? Still looking for a programmatically way to convert Bitcoin addresses into Bitcoin Gold addresses. Is there a snippet or a pseudo code to transform a Bitcoin address into a Bitcoin Gold hashed address?
I want to provide a little tool for people to check whether they own BTG. Normally you would just use your BTC address in the fork's explorer to check (like you can do with BCH), but due to the distinct hashed BTG address format that is not possible.

The flippening for BTG could take place anytime soon like what happened with Bitcoin cash so therefore a rise in the price of btg in the range of 0.03440- 0.06878 is predicted by the end of this month.

If this will cross 0.05 BTC than it will be Christmas present for everyone let us see when the whales start moving this above that price. BTG is looking much better BCash there is big space for this rise.

Shape shift is in the process of adding support at the moment.

I doubt it. First, there is not much develop of this BTG Team, Second, The Price keeps lower and lower because of BTC rising. I do really hope as your prediction.

Hi all. I need help. For some reason my private BTG key doesn't work I have generated the address here: https://btgwallet.online/It is saved okay because i look 10 times to be sure ... Address GgASZ2Qvpi2SjmGzt6a1GLEFpLyqycqEDU Public 038de5bb6f8278c4b1579baeab59aaa68376bc5218d8be150ec1ef9ccee0fff3d0 Also I have reseived answer from BTG Support Team: Hello, Unfortunately I have sad news for you. I got answer from the Core Developer. There is nothing we can do about your problem. All available wallets need the compressed key you got in the first form. "Any keys used you will need to manually store safely as they will be needed later to redeem the bitcoin gold." I wish to have better news for you. best regards Support Team

Problem is: you have to do it yourself, if you ask someone to do it for you he can steal your money. Here is enough info to get you through it, at least for BTC: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=129652.0Format: uncompressed: 0x80 + [32-byte secret] + [4 bytes of Hash() of previous 33 bytes], base58 encoded compressed: 0x80 + [32-byte secret] + 0x01 + [4 bytes of Hash() previous 34 bytes], base58 encoded case 1: secret (hex): 1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 uncompressed: secret (base58): 5HwoXVkHoRM8sL2KmNRS217n1g8mPPBomrY7yehCuXC1115WWsh pubkey (hex): 044f355bdcb7cc0af728ef3cceb9615d90684bb5b2ca5f859ab0f0b704075871aa385b6b1b8ead8 09ca67454d9683fcf2ba03456d6fe2c4abe2b07f0fbdbb2f1c1 address (base58): 1MsHWS1BnwMc3tLE8G35UXsS58fKipzB7a compressed: secret (base58): KwntMbt59tTsj8xqpqYqRRWufyjGunvhSyeMo3NTYpFYzZbXJ5Hp pubkey (hex): 034f355bdcb7cc0af728ef3cceb9615d90684bb5b2ca5f859ab0f0b704075871aa address (base58): 1Q1pE5vPGEEMqRcVRMbtBK842Y6Pzo6nK9 Obtained from the Bitcoin developer mailing list: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=CAPg%2BsBhDFCjAn1tRRQhaudtqwsh4vcVbxzm%2BAA2OuFxN71fwUA%40mail.gmail.com&forum_name=bitcoin-developmentGo through it and remember not to give anyone uncompressed version you have if you want to see that money again.

BTG fails to impress community because of several snags accocated with new fork i.e buggy wallets, links to fake clients to name only a few.

You mean like. btg.evilbs.com (You can also download the source from github so that you can run it with an offline machine for safety).

The private key (compressed) is what you probably want and is the default in most engines. It will start with a K or L uncompressed starts with a 5 You can go to a brain wallet site to do the conversion. http://brain.evilbs.com/ (You can also download the source from github so that you can run it with an offline machine for safety). - click on Private key - paste in your private key - then click on compressed or uncompressed to switch back and forth.

You don't want to go through the hassle of pressing a few buttons to get free money? Uhhhh, then you wouldn't mind paying me to do it for you? Send me your private keys and I will go through the tedious button pressing to collect the free money for us (we're gonna be a team now). No? Damn. Ok, SAFE != Easy Gotta make up your mind. Safe = Move your BTC to a new address or addresses then, move your BCH to a new address or addresses then claim your BTG Not everyone has claimed their BTG. (I can say that with 100% authority.) Also, for ease, it depends on the wallet you use to hold your coin. All will have the ability to export the private keys. You can then import into your BTG full node (if you choose to run one). Basically, you've said you want it easy, but didn't mention what your working with (wallet / number of addresses / amounts / etc).

I would like to recommend Coinomi which is safe and secure to make claim this coin. I'm using this wallet to make claim this really way to get free coin and send them anywhere.

Coinomi is highly recommended. Just note that with coinomi, you're sweeping the address (moving coins into coinomi). You're not importing.
