It looks like that devs sold most of their coins. Good luck guys.
I just did a random sample of the first 8000 books and it appears the vast majority of premined coins have not been spent. I did find 500 coins out of 10000 have been spent from AQS1w7wyXQjPiE29LtA8ER8DbSQii4vSk7 https://btgexp.com/address/AQS1w7wyXQjPiE29LtA8ER8DbSQii4vSk7. Please do share your analysis which made you arrive at your conclusion. I must admit my sample was a little small. However, you made the claim. Now get to showing us the proof.

I tried my btc addresses in the BTG explorer but the address came up as not there....do we have to add prefix or do a bit shift or something?
Your BTC address is invalid on BTC addresses start A or G Once you import your key into a BTG wallet you will get a BTG address that will contain all your coins Make sure to use a trusted wallet and even then make sure there are no BTC in the address first to be on the safe side

Hey look! An untapped market!
Who will be the first to spin an ASIC for Bitcoin Gold and its algo cousins? I can pretty well guarantee it won't be anyone who spends their precious time crusading on bitcointalk against Jihan's supposed unfair advantage.
(I don't mean to be ragging on you specifically, bones. This is really addressed to the masses)
As a consumer, I don't have to put up or shut up. For example, if I don't happen to like Wal-Mart, I don't need to raise the capital and come up with a viable alternative. I have every right to voice my complaints and take my business elsewhere. Are you stating that Yelp isn't an example of the free market at work?

Of course you have a right to whine about reality. However, it does nothing to change the situation, and merely makes you look like a whiner. Complaining about some supposed advantage that someone with resources, skill, and most importantly initiative enjoys, merely exposes one as someone who would rather complain than to actually do something. and again: (I don't mean to be ragging on you specifically, bones. For the same amount of money, I can dabble in mining & have a decent gaming computer that can do so much more. (Not just make noise and become a space heater.) Plus, I now have a wide array of algorithms to chose from. Much wider than if I bought one of Bitmain's ASICS.

Yep that is the one. Why would they release a wallet without first checking its virus status. Dumb. i think they are false positive i see them many times in many wallet I downloaded the exe, virus checked it (mcafee) ran it then virus checked the qt exe with no problems found. Sync'ed the wallet then imported my BTC private key from a now empty BTC address. Once in the wallet, moved the BTG to a fresh BTG address. Subsequently sent a few to Bittrex, no problems experienced. Did you scan it with Malwarbytes? It has a coin miner in it, and I am pretty sure it is not used for staking purposes. The name of the coin miner is riskware.bitcoinminer and it is a trojan. https://www.howtoremoveit.info/remove-riskware-bitcoinminer-trojan/I ran the virus checkecker that highlighted a couple of old registry entries so all in all I'm happy with the wallet I have and the price BTG is at

At least this forked coin has proper dev who is working for some features and thousands of Bitcoins volume on Bittrex in itself says lot about the future. It will be settled at range of current price in the long run and has to stay here as active altcoin. Instead of hating it better make money from it like smart traders

good question. anyone do that yet? Yes, it's not that hard at all. Instruction can be found here. https://blog.trezor.io/claim-bitcoin-gold-bgold-btg-f66969e7f2c0 Just update the firmware, then go to the claiming tool.

The success of bitcoin gold was born, and many BTC holders ate candy again yesterday. The gold partners hold for a while, and will it go beyond the big brother BCH? Maybe that's what we're looking forward to

Maybe that's what we're looking forward to BCH also seems to have large support from many BTC holders yes there are lots claiming scam, and instant dump etc but that's expected but the overall support is quite good and when the BCH crown try and pull it down there are always lots or core supporters standing up to them anyone would think the BCH crowd were worried that BTG will dominate them

It will be more appropriate and appreciable, if BTG team prioritize Electrum Wallet release for BTG as first in the list of ToDo as mentioned in bitcoingold.org!

Will be intersting to see within which time frame Bitcoin Gold will reach the same valuation as Bitcoin Cash.
