There are still news about double spends and mostly exchanges are affected from this issue. This is what I also saw from various discussions bring made on social media. I hope team will come out of this issue and everything will be fine like before. In past we have seen such things taking place in other coins and they not only survived but also saw rise in short time after recovery.

As far as I know, the attack is over. However, Bittrex (and perhaps some other exhances also) is holding back tons of BTG coins, because they wallet is "automated maintenance" since Saturday. (However, the trade is on.) What kind of manipulation is this?
And they are unable to recover those coins, which are stuck. 

Bittrex's BTG wallet is still offline. Now the official reason is: "Wallet Offline - Awaiting feedback from developers"
Dear developers! Do you know anything?

as far as i understand exchanges got hitted by a %51 attack
but it was their responsiblety to check network for attack like this at least asking for more confirmations

by btg side they need more decentralization which can be archived by making asic miners ineffective

Bittrex's BTG wallet is still offline, and they have no willingness to solve it, they are simply forcibly closing related support tickets without any meaningful work.
