Anyone knows how to get the Bitcoin Gold offline wallet work? I download the blockchain file via torrent and it still takes more than two weeks and only 80% synced. It is on a laptop that has AMD Athlon II x4 CPU and a 1TB 7200 rpm hard drive.

I do have the wallet file though. Are there any online website (similar to "MyEtherWallet" online) that can read my wallet.dat file?

Hard for us to know what you're talking about or able to check, because you provided the public address and the public key.

The private key (compressed) is what you probably want and is the default in most engines.
It will start with a K or L
uncompressed starts with a 5

You can go to a brain wallet site to do the conversion.
http://brain.evilbs.com/  (You can also download the source from github so that you can run it with an offline machine for safety).
- click on Private key
- paste in your private key
- then click on compressed or uncompressed to switch back and forth.

Maybe the issue is with http://brain.evilbs.com/ (all operations only for BTC, there is no BTG)

If your private key is not recognized, then you copied it wrong.  It doesn't matter if it's BTC, BCH, or BTG.  A key is a key.
First, does your private key start with a K or L or 5?

I don't accept bets, everything can happen. But this is what many people expecting from this coin. Many people accumulating it starting from 300$. It doesn't really matter which price to buy 250$ or 300$ if the price will go up to 1000$ in couple of weeks.
