Many investors of the old school would simply say that this is an economic bubble that will soon burst. But the reasons why Bitcoin turned out to be a bubble in the long run are much deeper. As with any other speculative asset, no one knows what will happen to it in the future. There is an opinion that bitcoin will not survive, and it is supported by a variety of reasons. I think if many countries accept bitcoin its value will be raised higher than its value today. And it is true that the future of bitcoin depends on the people who use it today, depending on the many people who use it and when people receive it, it is not impossible that the state government will be concerned about bitcoin.

The future of Bitcoin is still unclear as yet, with regulators and banks being against it which I doubt that this could have a huge affect on bitcoin's future.
But the mining difficulty and energy consumption on the other hand has me worried though because this issue got people questioning the profitabilty of mining and long duration of mining.
I am afraid that if these issues aren't dealt with now there won't be a Bitcoin future to look forward to.
Hopefully in the near future these issues will be a thing of the past.
