v0.5-54
- IMPORTANT! New AMD undervolting technique, more reliable core voltage states now. Though it's slower to apply.
- Invalid shares reported by Claymore for each GPU

Additional notice:
In version 0.5-54, a new mechanism is used to reduce power consumption. Along with this GPU core voltage, which previously set, may need to be adjusted.

Just a question to the community.

I'm running very stable with the version 0.5-43. Are the updates recommanded? or the benefits are minor?
thanks for the advice

Linux and AMD drivers for Vega don't go well, not very well developed. So many Linux distributions have abandoned support for it (ethOS and hiveOS too most likely)

Wonderful OS! Tested and I had no problems! The only thing that he was working with a mini-remote control with each run, but it is not critical.

Can you explain what you are doing? If it's interesting maybe it could be in HiveOS from the box.

I have 11 NVIDIA rigs on HiveOS.
I have 18 AMD rigs on Windows. I want to use HiveOS for my AMD RX550 2GB GPU RIGS. I followed the tutorial in hiveOS forum but nothing work for me. We can burn it and use it if you prepare ready-to-use AMD RX550 HiveOS image.

I cannot live, I cannot die, trapped in myself.
Hold my breath as I wish for death. Oh please god, help me !

I am and since a recent update (did clean installs on all my rigs using latest image to get the new drivers), I haven't been able to get it going again.

I posted about it here:

About PROJECT_HASH

We're introducing a new concept of adding rigs to Hive.
In your account https://hiveos.farm/a/account/#pane-user please find your PROJECT_HASH value.
After flashing the drive with Hive image you can precreate rig.conf from rig-config-example.txt and put  PROJECT_HASH and RIG_PASSWD there. After you start the rig it will be auto created on the web. No need to create rig on the web first and then to write RIG_ID. Thus you can refresh your farm very quickly.

New hive image 0.5-57 includes default config example so you can use this feature.

Also new version of hive-flasher is released. Instructions are here https://github.com/minershive/hive-flasher
Download hive-flasher image here http://download.hiveos.farm/

Last time I tested out Hive OS, I wasn't able to adjust power/clock per each GPU. Is this still the case or has this been addressed?

Thank you.
