It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Red Temp in the top right of the Monitor screen.
Is it a
TARGET_TEMP=60
that you mentioned earlier?
Or it is just coloring the temps?
Thanks.
Red Temp for coloring in web and telegram bot alarm messages. But it's good idea use it on autofan too

If you could add it to the next release that would be wonderful for easy control of fans. And it would be logic also)))
Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Just wanted to add, like probably as other miners already requested, an auto profit switching application included in HiveOS would be so awesome !

Thanks

Does anyone maybe knows what are the minimum system requirements for ruining HiveOs + 1 miner especially RAM memory? 2x RX580 on that rig.
Thanks!

4Gb recommended  but with 2 cards you can try with 2Gb of RAM

Is in version 2.0 problem with Autofan solved. I mean, can we just set 0 in OC settings for Nvidia, or manual again?

2Gb is enough for mixed AMD|NVIDIA rig with 5 GPU. At the moment I am using RX580, 2xRX570, RX560 and GTX1050TI in single system with 2Gb memory. I have 4Gb handy but do not feel any need to mess with good working system. I even run second miner for CPU - just to be sure that the system can handle the load but CPU is a low-end Atom so it make no sense for real.

Autofan currently in preview mode. Full control and integration will be with HiveOS 2.0 release

BTW, yesterday was started private test of Hive OS 2.0. Guys really try to surprise you.

Autofan currently in preview mode. Full control and integration will be with HiveOS 2.0 release

BTW, yesterday was started private test of Hive OS 2.0. Guys really try to surprise you.

I know you have been saying preview but does autofan actually work on all cards? I tried it last night, copied and pasted your code in Notepad, changed the temps:

Code:
# GPU target temperature. AutoFan
TARGET_TEMP=69

# Min fans speed
MIN_FAN=25

# Max fan speed
MAX_FAN=100

#temperature of stop miner
CRITICAL_TEMP=81

#AMD fan control (AMD control enable-0/AMD control disable-1)
NO_AMD=0

I then saved as autofan.conf and then placed it into the /hive-config folder. I rebooted and also typed in autofan in the command. I didn't see any difference in temperature control. I watched it slowly go up to 79C and the fan speed increased from 40% to 45% in a span of 5 min. This is on a rig of 5 different Nvidia cards. Am I doing this correctly?

Does AMD voltage settings really work for on Hive?

Miner reports 340-350Watt for 1 RX 470 and 3 RX 570 but wallmeter says 550-560Watts in total.

System is z270 mobo,  G4400 cpu and 4gb ram.

Does hive only report GPU core watt consumption without paying attention other components onboard such as video ram and etc?

I set 1299 Mhz for all gpu and 930-950mV with DPM 5 and make 12.6Mh/s from the rig.

Should I set DPM more lower such as 2-3?

Thanks.

1) If you using "aggresive downvolting" feature it's doesn't matter what DPM you are using
You can use 1-2-3

Miner reports 340-350Watt for 1 RX 470 and 3 RX 570 but wallmeter says 550-560Watts in total.
2) Miner doesn't says anything about per consumption. Hive OS reported power consumption by GPU cores (it's many time was explained).

3) And "Yes" voltage settings works

i got a very strange problem.low hashrate on hiveos than win7
i used 4*gtx 750 to mine xmr and the hashrate change from 700h/s to 880h/s,the miner soft is xmr-stak.
while i use win7 the hashrate just from 860h-880h.the miner soft is xmr-stak,

Take a look at the Nvidia.txt config file that was used on Windows and compare it to what HiveOS generated. If HiveOS's Nvidia.txt config file is different you should put what Windows generated into the override field for HiveOS XMR-Stak.

Also, on Windows were the GTX 750's overclocked?

I have 24 GTX 750's installed as 8x GTX 750 on each of my three HP DL580 G7 servers. Even though all 24 GTX 750's are the exactly the same their hash rate varies from 221 to 250. The hash rate is steady for each GTX 750 it is just that one will produce 221 H/s and another will produce 250 H/s. The only thing I could guess at is that the memory speed on some is faster than others. On average these 24 GTX 750's produce 232 H/s each.

This is my Nvidia.txt for eight GTX 750:

"gpu_threads_conf" :
