The easy way is to download fresh Hive version and set up from scratch.

there is no command like nvidia for AMD?

i want to try this
Code:
For AMD
tar -Jxvf amdgpu-pro-XXXX.tar.xz
cd amdgpu-pro-XXXX
./amdgpu-pro-install -y
dpkg -l amdgpu-pro
To install new amd driver you need to unisntall previous one, please run “amdgpu-pro-uninstall”.
Please unpack currently installed driver tar.gz to /var/opt/amdgpu-pro-local then “amdgpu-pro-uninstall” will work.
It was removed to save space.

I saw, that HiveOs was able to support mixed AMD and Nvidia setups.

I have a asrock H110 motherboard and I want to mix 5 1080 TI with 4 RX580 and 2 RX570.

What should I do?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

It will work nicely.

Depending of what you want to mine, but you can configure 2 different miner if you want (1 AMD and 1 NVIDIA).
You can also OC both Nvidia and AMD in the same OC profile.

Thank you clems,

I ll try it this week-end.

I'm currently mining ETC with all my cards (and the 1080TI pill of course)

I tried yesterday, and I was surprised how easy it was. Nothing complex to do. Really Plug and Play.
Just a big "Thank you" again to the HiveOS team!!!

But as ever wenn you move/add cards the big shit remain the risers...

Hive OS is a good operating system with a user-friendly interface, but I tried to use it for a day on different hardware and refused in favor of Windows. I did this because ASROCK 110 BTC with 12 AMD cards did not even start, also there are fewer miners and overclocking options.

Does your OS have a miner for rvn built in?
Will it work with AMD cards?

Yes.  There is.
CCMiner for Nvidias, SGMiner for AMDs.

did u try;

username : user
password : 1
?

You need to login as "root" for password reset if you cant login as "user".
If you have phsically access to hiveos, follow the commands below.

Code:
sudo passwd user

some news about this update?

I'm impatient to be able to mine a X22i algo with Cryptodredge.

Any release this week or should I try to install myself (I m not confident with that Cheesy)

So iv been mining for the past 8-9 months no problem on hive os on 3 different riggs. 1 rig of 580s, 1 rig of 480s and 580s mix and 1 rig of 1070, all 6 gpu rigs. I just updated my 1070 rig to the newest version which was about 30 versions behind. Now my 6 card 1070 gpu rig is only mining on 4 gpus and i have no idea why. Im positive its not a hardware issue and im positive its not a config issue. the only thing that has changed in the past 15 minnutes is this update i installed and going from 6 gpus working to 4

HiveOS Linux client v0.6-01@181121

*   DON'T UPGRADE TO THIS VERSION IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE EARLY ADOPTER AND YOUR FARM UPTIME IS CRITICAL.

This is a very big update with many changes. It was tested but usually there are hotfixes with such things.

*   Totally redesigned packages architecture. Now Hive Core and miners are in separate packages.
Updates are much quicker and traffic wise. Only required miners and updated.
Miners are autoinstalled if you use them.
You can have different miners versions installed without downgrading.
*   Version now consists of Hive Core version and repository update date. Like 0.6-01@181121.
So miners packages can be released without changing Hive Core version.
Hive Core itself is the thing that contains all the scripts which control system boot, overclocking, watchdogs, etc. But not the miners.
*   hpkg console utility to manually control Hive packages, uninstall, update, list, etc. Run it to see usage instructions.
*   Most of custom miners are in main branch now. Please update you Flight Sheets.
*   NEW: cast-xmr
*   NEW: cryptodredge
*   NEW: ethminer ubiq
*   NEW: phoenixminer
*   NEW: sgminer fancyIX, kl
*   NEW: t-rex
*   NEW: teamredminer
*   NEW: wildrig-multi
*   NEW: xmrig-amd, xmrig-nvidia
*   bminer 10.5
*   optiminer deprecated and removed
*   ccminer-update deprecated, all miners are included now
*   CUDA 9.2 is now default for most miners. Nvidia driver >=396 is required.
It is advised to use nvidia-driver-update on old installations. Or reflash Hive image.
Optionally you can select CUDA 9.1 or lower versions of miners if available.
*   custom-get - no needed for -f for update, just change URL in FS
*   Updated version in /hive/opt/e1000e/e1000e-upgrade.sh to update Intel LAN driver
*   One more HW watchdog on the same QinHeng HL-340 chip. /hive/opt/qinheng/wd-fixorgua to enable this type of WD.

Web interface updates
- New miners support in web
- Adaptive monitoring pages on mobiles and tablets
- LAN setting in workers
- Minor fixes

^
Can confirm  Grin DO NOT UPDATE  Grin Grin unless you are small home single rig user

Got this error after updating
Code:
./t-rex: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.4: version `CURL_OPENSSL_3' not found (required by ./t-rex)

Did apt-get install libcurl3  ,and after this hive is dead.

So do not update, as devs stated above  Cheesy Cheesy
