I created a gui wallet based on the sumokoin wallet:

When creating an adress from the wallet you cant recover it with the mnemonic seed! But you can use the wallet-files from the data/wallet/*.bin in the regular wallet-cli if you want to.

So, 1 person did what the whole etn team could not do ? This speaks of the man capabilities or the etn team capabilities, or both ?

There is a huge difference between creating a gui wallet and releasing a password protected wallet that contains the investors funds. They of course have a wallet ready, they just did not want to release the wallets until they are secure. Too many people using weak passwords does not help the matter.

There would be far more drama and anger if they did release the wallets and ICO funds, and they got stolen or lost. I don't want my own investment compromised because a few others can't wait. Whatever the case, we all have to wait, nothing more to it than that. We already have working wallets, nice to have a gui option too though.

Yeah. I am confident they can work around those hackers but it's really frustrating knowing that a lot of time and resources are wasted just because some very smart people are trying to steal people's honest money.

There is literally 0% chance of ETN to be a scam. There is no point in them doing anything if it was scam. But they are still going forward. You could claim they were a bit incompetent with the release, but even that was just bad luck and only 1 mistake. And lastly, the only reason we are facing a longer delay is because they want to be more sincere and give the best product which is a commendable thing for them to do.

Now, whether it releases Dec 1 or Nov 1 shouldn't make a difference in long term and especially if you wanted to hodl. I know a lot people got upset about the fact that cryptopia price is so high and they feel like they missed their chance to sell. But the fact is that if all the wallets got released on Nov 1 then cryptopia price wouldve never risen to that high to begin with.

Lastly, this is just my personal advice: which is to hodl. Anybody who wants to sell obviously can but it really doesnt make sense to participate in an ICO for a quick flip. ICO is not the place for quick flip. ICO is for hodl so that you can make tremendous gain in the future and one should only invest in ICO if they actually believe in the product. So release date is irrelevant in that case (albeit a bit inconvenient).

FYI I'm an investor myself and on the same boat as all of you.

What is this - witchcraft forum? Will you read my aura too?  I hear some say .... ? Dude - think.  Why would they do that? That is so illogical when it comes to money that it hurts my brain that someone even could think that it's true. Guys try to be careful with what you read and say. Read a bit, and then speculate. 

I was amazed that for 2 weeks on this forum there was a group of people screaming that this is a scam since the phone cannot mine and that the battery would go down fast, that cpu in phones are too weak. Noone bothered to read that it is not actual mining - rather "mining experience" -   a marketing vessel to get 1000 x more active users. The goal is to make ETN a mainstream coin, and phone mining should do the job.

This is a funny read but smart people in here realize 3 things

1) just 2 months ago people said running around with arms in air this was a scam
And will never list on any exchange - Wrong!

2) the idea was stupid - and won't gain momentum - really WRONG again!

Looking at what's going on with the launch of Bitcoin Gold blockchain today, I'm starting to feel better about the ETN launch. Regardless of the problems with the other components of the ecosystem, at least the blockchain itself launched without a hitch.

Hello Contraband, what is now situation with being listed on Bittrex, Poloniex and Liqui ? Richard said it will be done by mid November, so is this also postponed or still in progress ?

Here Electroneum have shot themselves in the foot. At first, the exchanges were willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and list them quickly. Now, they will be treated with suspicion and doubt.

How do I know all this? Basically one of the exchanges told me.

I knew ETN will be applying to Bitfinex and I wanted to vouch for them in an email that went like this:
