Too many large pools are almost daily down... seems like someone doing this on purpose.

dude, do you see a spy under every rock?  They just go down, it happens. It's a new coin. New pools. People have to iron things out.  The world looks much better when you are looking for positive things, rather than see all the problems.

It's a fact that most of the main mining pool get DDOS from another mining pool (or some). I saw lot of mining pool owners who was struggling to get their pool working again.

I hope it was just a DDOS attack, or bad luck, and not something more worrying on pool http://www.electroneum.space.
Look at the gaps in recent block payouts, almost 4 hour gaps of no payouts. I check the same time period with www.electromine.fr and they had no such 4 hour gap.

Code:

yeah they dont have a lot of hashing power at the moment, so it can take a while, i don't think its worrying.

Maybe in your world is normal that all big pools are down at same time and all the low hashrate pools work like a charm, but not in mine.

Telegram is exploding about the T-mobile rumor.

There was a deleted tweet, and then Richards email yest said they are in talks with a mobile carrier with 50 million customers and thats exactly how many customers T-mobile has.

If its true we are fuc/×ing rich!!!

I strongly believe in this project. Not so many English project out there in crypto world.

Also, I believe that guy Suppoman who highly recommended it. Only time will show, of course. But the idea is obvious and might be working. Looking forward to updates from the team.

I also don't believe in T-Mobile but if there will be a deal(s) in (a) developing country(-ies) more people can afford smartphones and thus etn will spread ever faster.
It's comparable with the computer industry -> new software needs better hardware which leads to more demanding software etc.

Are you part of the electroneum dev team? If you are not, they should give you some of that $40 million for doing their work for them.

hah electroneum has a team of programmers and tons of money, and we have to rely on the community members that "know stuff" for doing a gui wallet, something they (etn) should have done before launch. Every day I am getting less and less confident in the electroneum development team.  Undecided

anyway, great work!

edit: btw, which programming language did you use?

It's a fork of monero-gui
C/QML , variable changing basically
Most of the time was redesign , change colors, icons, texts
And of course, the freaking build environment. The Documentation sucks for that, it's easy on linux, but for windows, took me 3/4 days to figure it out.

I hope you can smell that this is really a red flag for the dev team and who knows what is the future of this coin. I watch it closesly as I wanted to take part in the ICO but passed and a far as I see things go I made the right call.

Many coins have launch issues, and your tokens are safe man, everything will be sorted out.
If instead of complaining, people tried to help or reach them in a constructive way, it would be better.

I appreciate the team's most recent update via e-mail. At least they are keeping the communication regularly, instead of completely disappearing while they work.

I know someone already shared the email a couple pages ago, but just in case this is the link the team posted on FB (that has the same information as the email sent to users): https://electroneum.com/2017/11/21/electroneum-update/
