What is atomic unit of Electroneum???I have balance: 10.00 RPC returns: {'id': '0', 'jsonrpc': '2.0', 'method': 'getbalance'} { "id": "0", "jsonrpc": "2.0", "result": { "balance": 1000, "unlocked_balance": 1000 } } WTF atomic unit 0.01 ? etn only has 2 decimals, so the smalest unit (atomic unit) on etn is 0.01, and the rpc returns your balance in atomic units thanks for the answer seems strange for me why only 2 decimals ? and if every coin will has its own denomination unit it will be a total chaos yeah they shoulde release way more coins with this decision, they want to make it more convinient because regular currencies like USD/EUR only have 2 decimals I think with a strong increase in price, 2 digits after the decimal point can create certain problems. The best choice to have at least 8 digits after the decimal point is very convenient.

The best choice to have at least 8 digits after the decimal point is very convenient. That is exactly why Bitcoin is overly complicated for most. Having so many digits isn't at all convenient for a coin to be used for payments. It works better for trading but that's not what Crypto was created for in the first place. There are pros and cons for both though, Electroneum picked this system for a reason, so all we can do is trust in their decision and see how things progress.

Not all of the standalone blockchains can scale properly. It's a good thing ETN has its own blockchain though and the fees at the moment are low ~ which makes it good. Hopefully it doesn't increase exponentially following mass adoption of Electronuem in the future.

Another good news in regards to more Exchanges
Hi Everyone,
With the recent difficulties Cryptopia has had, we thought it important to let you know that we are proactively working to make Electroneum as accessible as we possibly can.
To this end we are pleased to announce that Michael Stollaire is joining us as a technical advisor to assist in the scalability of the business. Michael led on the Verge project, successfully implementating XVG onto many of the top high-volume exchanges and thus will be an invaluable asset to help ETN move onto new exchanges. Michael also has a wealth of experience leading the implementation of technical solutions for McDonald’s, Apple, Tesla and HP.
As you may know, a key part of the Electroneum strategy is achieving global mass adoption. In order to achieve this, we need exceptionally scaleable infrastructure. Michael is founder and CEO of Titanium – a company that operates a decentralised Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas) platform, a perfect fit for the Electroneum project.
Fundamentally, the strength of Electroneum is the people behind it. We believe having the right team in place is absolutely vital to achieving our goals, and we’re delighted that Michael is joining that team!

I have a problem with nanopool payment. It says confirmed, but if I enter address and viewkey in explorer it says address have 0 ETN. i cant see coins in wallet neihter.
It may be my foult. i'm mining to local walet and i provided
ETN_ADD dot WORKER dot EMAIL instead of ETN_ADD dot WORKER slash EMAIL
could this be the reason? are coins gone?
i've wrote to support email but they didn't answer me in few days know.

This just goes to show how devoted the dev team is to making this coin happen in a big way. If this was just another scam coin they would have just walked away with the profits by now. I see a very bright future for ETN. Privacy is the next wave for crypto, and this will have a very good change of riding it home.
Agreed. Not only that, they also don't want their own coin rising too fast in value. Most developers do everything possible to get their coins pumped up and make profit on it themselves. Electroneum want to keep the price stable to help secure more partnerships and bring slower natural growth with less volatility. I'm really impressed with that. That's one reason why it's not being listed on every exchange yet. They wanted to share the partnership news without it getting pumped then dumped and it worked pretty well. Exchanges will come, and hopefully natural growth price wise throughout the year and beyond. Happy to see the project comes first for them.

No one would be able to steal your money, but everyone would see your transactions. So if you concerned about it you shouldnt post it. You can check the the transaction yourself, by typing in your address and view key in https://blockexplorer.electroneum.com/. Or you could create a cli wallet (you could also create a readonly wallet, by just providing the private view key)
