I switched from using the pool miner to the wallet miner. After two days of nothing with the pool miner I switched after seeing bad block found in the logs. Changed to the wallet miner about 12 hours ago, have found two blocks. It has a lower hash but apparently more effective.

I was using the HODL Optiminer before...I wonder if the same issue happens with the other miner available.

Something is still wrong with the pool. I mined for hours, balance is 0 for all workers and nothing received in wallet

Same here.. mined since the pool is "working" again..
This is really annoying and I am starting to feel scammed.
Are they joking with us, or why do they tell us the pool is fixed without even
test it themselves?
Are we the beta-tester for your pool problems?

I am really almost done with this coin.
Dev you should strongly consider to find another pool which lists you,
as this current situation doesnt show your coin in a very good light.

For now, many miners only lost time, paid electricity and got not even
a penny as return of investment.

Nobody put a gun to your head to mine in pool. You can mine solo. Or build another pool if you know how. 

There was a big fork, pool went to wrong chain (havent time to examine, why), i have to verify all block in database, checking the sent payout, recalculate balances. Thats not a short time. i have real life job, i deal with crypto in my spare time.

Yes i just went back to it after half hour its now updated. A few weeks back on old
fork and wallet used to have 5 or 6 peers and update straight away.
It it because people are still using old wallets perhaps?

Yes that is part of the problem but you should also delete your peers.dat file before re-synchronizing...

I've done that a couple of times, does not appear to make any difference.

ok one more thing to try , backup your wallet.dat and then start with the following flags:  -rescan -zapwallettxes=2
wait till you see in the debug.log "rescan    29333ms"  , then try again.

Did the wallet rescan and it did his job.

Hi junktroep thankyou for trying, can you confirm which miner code you are running ?
i would like to try and reproduce this in my lab, I have seen this same problem with
lemon coin and it turned out to be an issue in cpuminer.

I can also confirm all the coin have arrived. I would have been a little annoyed if I lost over 10.000, but it's just a new coin and it will take even longer until all errors are eliminated.
Many thanks to elbandi for making sure everyone got their coins. I'm in some other Coins but the support and efforts here in the ROI Coin is really one of the best I have seen so far.

Thank you for your support Guru.  We are entirely about community, and community takes care of their own.  We sincerely appreciate everyone's patience through these growing pains.

Yes, ROI is an offspring of HOdlcoin, but what's under the hood, has changed considerably, for the features we were wanting to implement.  We have identified the situations that potentially caused the previous forks and are working up a RegTest environment to see if we can duplicate the issue.  Once verified, we will have a correction in place soon.  The good news is, this was spotted early on, instead of far down the road, where the consequences could have been much worse.

To you Guru and anyone else reading, let us know as you come across any issues, we are listening and we will take care of you.
