Same throughts. Also, repeating logo in the wallet background doesn't looks great. May be, some abstract background with logo at the left corner will looking better?

[/quote]

Hello,

The wallet background is something that is on one of many burners.  Part of the problem being, a fixed size .png for the background, but the wallet window is not fixed, allowing people to resize the wallet like any window.  There in lays the problem, once beyond the size of the background, there is a multiplier affect of the logo.  Different video settings or generic video drivers also can create a less then favorable "look".  If you lock onto the lower right corner of the wallet it bring towards center, you'll see what I mean.

We are consulting with a QT coder on how best to approach this, but this is rather low on the list.  Aside from the fork, then traffic blowing out the home site...  Got our hands full at the moment.  Smiley  We have been unexpectedly surprised by the enthusiasm by this community and an ever growing global interest in the coin.

Good news is the network is still going strong, seed nodes are online, and the block explorer is still running: http://45.76.246.101:3001/

As soon as we get past the fork and our new home site is up, we will be getting to suggestions and incorporating as we can.  So please, feel free to keep the suggestions rolling in.  Smiley

Take care.

ROI Coin Cluster Mining

Miner Pools
Website: http://roicluster.miner-pools.com/
Description: Solo mining as part of a cluster is you connecting to one node with other users connecting to that same node. You can connect as many computers to the cluster node as you like. When you successfully mine a block you get 100% of the block for 120 coins with zero fees. Basically, cluster mining is extremely efficient and more profitable than your typical pool.

I just pm'd @TheRaster. I'm not sure what timezone he's in but hopefully he'll sort things out soon and let us know what's going on.

Hi guys, Sorry we have abit of down time on the line.

The provider is working getting the trunk back up. As soon as its live your miners should reconnect. The cluster is up its just the trunk to the cluster that is down. I have been told it should be active within the next hour.

Great news, thanks for getting on this so fast. I think your cluster miner is probably the best thing that happened to this coin.

Thank you. There is much much more I would like to do with the cluster. But I have very limmited time on my hands at the min. I would like to put stats on to the site and so on. I would also like to get a ppln pool up but its all about time and thats just something I dont have much of.

I dont run the cluster alown I have a friend who helps to run things he is on here but he is not the kind of guy who posts... (hes the guy who likes to peep hahaha) .we just split any donations that go to the cluster 50/50. I am just waiting on the new fork to come then I am going to do some changes to the cluster because there is room to improve on things.

Just abit of a update, I have been chatting with the other guy who helps me with this and we are going to go down to the data center and install a 4G fall over so if the trunk is down it will fall over to 4G.

We are both miners and we know the pain of coming home looking at your rig and seeing its not mining. So we are going to do all we can to keep the cluster node up.

Looking forward to seeing what you have planned. Good luck with the getting a pool set up too, for some reason some miners seem to prefer a pool to the cluster so it will be great for them to finally have a choice of pools.

I'd like to also add my thanks to you guys and all your hard work.

Being a bit of a noob to mining (mining z-cash for a few months) and completely wet behind the ears with ROICoin (a week), can you explain what you mean by "fork" and the impact of it??

There was a small error in the interest rate calculations. The devs will be issuing a new wallet with the correct calulations soon. All you'll have to do is download the new wallet and use that one instead.

*Back up your wallet.dat before you upgrade (don't worry, there'll be full instructions given when the time comes)

I dont see why not... Edit the bat file.

Quote
edit the .bat file with your key and change the miner for the one your system runs best with.
EG..

roiminer.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 4 --coinbase-addr=RJsFF8fgC7QVYvVSa93x8J2VhTtiS1mtwz -P -q

or

roiminer-aes.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 4 --coinbase-addr=RJsFF8fgC7QVYvVSa93x8J2VhTtiS1mtwz -P -q

or

roiminer-bdver2.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 4 --coinbase-addr=RJsFF8fgC7QVYvVSa93x8J2VhTtiS1mtwz -P -q
