I was running this version of the miner, hodlminer-orava2017v2.
Any chance you could compile a windows binary? I would be happy to test if it is working properly.

Sadly orava hasn't released the source code this is based on. which binary in the bundle are you using ?,
i will try and see what it takes to build a windows binary.

Hi

I have same problem as junktroep, ironmaik and other.
I use
~/hodlminer-wolf# ./hodlminer -V
cpuminer 2.4.3

Tryed your version, v2.4.4
~/hodlminer-v2.4.4# ./hodlminer-ubuntu14-x86_64 -a hodl -o http://<my ip>:23110 -u mine -p miner --coinbase-addr=<my adr>
Illegal instruction (core dumped)

I might do something wrong, I'm not an expert,  or missing some soft in my ubuntu server installation.

I can't log to coinsmarkets.com and trade there since 03.01.2018.
It's is frustating not only with the sum (also in ROIcoin), but also the fact that someone is still trading there - sometimes sites load and there are visible new transaction.

So ..... found some time to test now

- brand new binary from ghobson (the haswell one)

./hodlminer-avx2-ubuntu14-haswell --version
hodlminer 2.4.4
 built on Jan  5 2018
 features: x86_64 PHE SSE2 AVX AVX2 XOP
libcurl/7.47.0 OpenSSL/1.0.2g zlib/1.2.8 libidn/1.32 librtmp/2.3
libjansson 2.5

- ubuntu 16.04

at least it is running right now with an even better hashrate than the version I used before :-)
I did NOT restart ROIcoind since I did this before with -reindex and -rescan -zapwallettxs respective.

Keep you informed when (or if) I got the first block solo mining, will take some hours

Pre-Mine: 6% For Development Costs, Ongoing Expenses, Exchange Listings, Marketing Fees, Rewards, Contests And Bounties

So yes given the coin is new (8 weeks old) the % of coins is going to be high when looking at others. My own wallet is in the top 25-50 some of that come from bounties for the work I have done to help the coin and some has come from my own mining.

6% is not that much for a coin. I have seen much bigger pre-mines on new coins.

Any one who has spent the time to mine this coin will tell you how good this coin and the dev team are.

If you come back and look at that page again in 12 hours you will see that the top 25% is dropping because the coin is being mined. When it was a week old that % was much higher than it is now.

If you was comming here in a year from now and looking at the top 25 wallets and it looked like that then yes it would be a bad thing. But that is not the case.

EDIT:

in the time it has taken me to reply to your comment its droped from 87.49% to 87.48% so as you can see its going down as more coins are mined.

Hi,

After a lot of digging , combining work from wolf/optiminer and nicehash, I managed to find a working version,
please try the following for me,
warning: This is my first time compiling a mining tool for windows.

Hello all,

My name is Anne from The Netherlands and I am new here. I read some articles about the Roicoin as a CPU mining coin and I like the idea therefore I decide to try to mine some coins with my old XP computer in spite of the fact that I have no experience with mining coins and if my old computer is able to do this.

The processor of my computer is a 3,00 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 with 8 kilobyte primary memory cache and 512 kilobyte secondary memory cache, Hyper-threaded (2 total)

The O.S is: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3.

I downloaded the file "ROIcoin-qt_x32_v1100" and start the wallet. It was working for one hour showing the message:

"Catching up...processed 25014 blocks of transaction history, last received block was generated 2 weeks ago transaction after this will not yet be visible".

After that appears the following message On the left down side of the screen "No block source available..."

On the Debug window: there is one node 153.213.96.231:3377.

This situation is staying for more than 15 hours.

Will be happy if anyone will try to help me solving this problem.
