Why is there a minimum of using 8 threads? I want to mine with 7 Threads because I get a higher hashrate.
Who says that there is a minimum of 8 threads?
Set you miner with "-t 7" to use 7 threads and all should be fine...

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I have a ryzen 1600

The Problem is when I set -t 7 than the exe crashes. I use the hodlminer AVX2. When I run -t 8 550 hash/s. With -t 7 600 hash/s and better power consumption

It seems to crash on odd numbered threads. You can try opening 3 instances of -t 2, so you have 6 threads running. This seems to be the most stable for me.

Hi Easy fix for you.

Run the program with out any -t command in the bat. Then go to task manager. Click Prosses tab. Then RIGHT click the hodlminer and click go to details. Right click again and click set affinity. Then you can select the CPU threads you wish to use Cheesy

Hope this helps.

Raster.

EDIT:

I know this works for miners crashing on -t commands because my own miner has a mardy if I set -t 20 it will crash. But I can do it with the task man set affinity and there is no crashing from the app.

I should make a note to other miners of this coin to play with the affinity of there miners.

I have found that setting the miners up in the same way as I would XMR Stak seems to work best.

My test rig is a HP DL580 with 4 x e7-4850 CPUs.

I find that running the miners with no -t setting to be best. Then I set the affinity from windows task manager.

My cpus are under 60% on each running in a manner of 11101010101010101010. So 1 being active thread and 0 being inactive thread. And I have them set like that on each CPU its giving more hash speed and using less power.

My laptop is runing a i5 2 core 4 thread and just 3mb L3 cache. I have that set to 3 thereads and that is doing the same amount of hash per sec as it would on 4 threads. So check your affinity you can save on power and get the same or more hash per sec.

Regards,

Raster.

This is a fairly new exchange opened recently. The developers can try to list ROI coin there although I don't know whether they will accept it or not  Huh

https://bitcoin.dmm.com/

I wonder what is the requirement to get listed in exchanges like Coinbase, bitfinex, bitstamp etc

Thank you,

I tested it. My avg. hashrate is now 695 H/s. My CPU is at 50%. The only problem is the pool. I lose sometimes the connection. -.-

Test with 10101010 and see if you still get the same HS Cheesy

EDIT:

Never mind I see 50% Cheesy

I have question, if I mining on coinspool.cu.cc, I should use my ROICoin adress or key for mining generated on coinspool site?

ROICoin address.

Just paste this line on your .bat file

hodlminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coinspool.cu.cc:3042 -u put your roincoin address -p x

and start the .bat to mine. That's it. I am doing the same

Coinsmarket exchange not working for a while, anybody knows what is going on? But, even if they'll come back I won't be brave enough to trade there. Any progress with other exchanges?
Also, can we have more pools? The only one I know is coinspool.cu.cc which I find it confusing (could be only me).
Thank you

The dev team plan on a pool run by them by the end of the year. Anyone is welcome to look to building a pool.

I have invested time and money in this coin. I have patiently waited for the fork,  so the currency would enter to the exchanges. It has not happened yet.

I asked this questions previously and nobody answered me. I hope to be lucky this time:
What will happen to Roicoin? Will it be included in some exchange? Yes or no?

Is there any other coins with locked irrevocable term deposits?
Or this coin is unique?

Very interesting, I also wanted to buy eoy coins, because I earned a little in the subscription, but will it be listed on the stock exchange or not? It's very important to know the plans of the developer.

The easiest way to mine the pool is to simply use your own ROIcoin address. You can of course use the key generator, but then you would have to import that into your wallet afterwards. So I guess the generator is best suited for people who doesn't yet have a wallet.

Its on a Excange right now. https://coinsmarkets.com/trade-BTC-ROI.htm

The exchange moved to a new datacenter and moving and syncing and making things work so traders dont loos coins takes time.
Keep checking the exchange. Feel free to contact the exchange your self and ask them why you cant trade there yet. They will tell you the same things take time to move.

It look like The global market is shifting sideway after a big rise, ALOT of competition, when I see old generation GPU selling high price, I think there still grow coming, but one day we will reach saturation, the only goal I can see is intensive exchange, but not only on market, 'real world exchange' it seem all about popularity from now.

Someone have a better analyse of the market, please share.

When I said an exchange I was referring to Binance, Bittrex, Poloniex, Cryptopia, C-cex, Hitbtc, ( Yobit ) etc.
Is it in your plans to put Roi coin in an exchange?
