Are there ways to earn this coin without mining, maybe by writing or sharing links?

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

This weekend I'm going to attempt to clean up some of the code on my block explorer and open source it. I'll be offering bounties for those who report or fix bugs, make suggestions that end up in a release version, or submit artwork to make the page a bit more presentable.

I don't know code so I can't do bugs, I can maybe do some simple artwork. But I am not a graphic designer, and don't have a scanner.

****** Bounty Filled ****** I would like to have a new feature: have encryption of the messages. I would like to have it supports a combo encryption types: AES + HMAC-SHA1 encryption block chain Messages. Using this method would make extremely difficult to crack. The encrypted message must be posted in the plaintext bytes that are currently supported (140 character) It must not impact the block chain; It can be at the wallet level only. It must be compatible with the current FLO block chain. If possible using of the existing Anontwi code as an example further to assist with development. They are currently working to get their code to 140 characters. This may assist with possible future features as they interface with the twitter API: http://anontwi.sourceforge.net/anontwi-encrypt.htmlhttp://anontwi.sourceforge.nethttp://anontwi.sourceforge.net/anontwi-encrypt.htmlBounty will be paid once the wallet and all functionality is reviewed and published by Skyangel. If you can possibly improve the blockchain to support longer encrypted messages or make them more efficient in the blockchain and have full support from the Florin dev, then that could be possible too and let's discuss. If you would like to contribute to this or make a donation to cover cover and increase the bounty please see my signature. As donations come in I will increase the bounty.

http://florinexchange.com/explorer small update - - Raw transaction data is now printed in a human-readable manner (thanks Kendall Hopkins http://stackoverflow.com/a/9776726/2576956).
- Reorganization / orphaned blocks that were incorrectly cached in the database are now handled properly, every block should display correct next/previous hashes.
If anyone finds a bug, please report to me, 1000 FLO for the first report of a major bug that ends up fixed! (The genesis block doesn't count as a bug by the way. Also I know inputs aren't listed yet.. coming soon )

I've found something quite concerning over the past day, I've found its the case for FLO and ADT but not any other coins so far. It'd be great to get some input from other pool owners on this, it won't take long. If you're running stratum on Linux please run the following command on your stratum log directory: more stratum.log*|grep "Problem Submitting block" I see the following output: 2013-09-21 14:10:52,327 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 13:42:58,397 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 13:43:44,032 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 13:45:18,061 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 13:55:15,934 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-20 04:50:23,535 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-20 07:42:54,471 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 13:22:18,169 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 13:22:43,466 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 13:23:33,100 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 13:24:15,233 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 12:22:54,012 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 12:22:56,830 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 09:10:20,101 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 09:26:12,047 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-21 08:17:54,016 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-20 19:44:19,727 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-20 11:24:06,203 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-20 11:24:45,512 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error 2013-09-20 14:56:43,147 ERROR bitcoin_rpc # Problem Submitting block 500 Internal Server Error Now I'm still seeing blocks come through to the wallet and on mmcfe, but its worring this many are failing to reach the wallet. Effectively the pools found these blocks but failed to submit them to the wallet, meaning the pool gets nothing. I don't see this on any other coin besides ADT.

I'm in the process of moving some of the pools to a better server, please try clearing your browser cache. Bigal The new server has crashed and support is trying to fix it but has no estimate when that might be, I have re-enabled the old pool site as a temporary solution should you need your florincoin fix until the new server comes back online. You will need to create a new account to use the temporary pool as well.
