Hi guys, Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that. Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc??? Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins. cheers its so defecult for your to on how to invest youre coin that have now!! but i think the best thing todo for you!! just make some advice here in the hero or legendary ranks, cause they know so much of crypto currency im just like you too.. defecult time to think that way!! but for me i advice just Hodl youre token for a little longger!! Wait for the Bitcoin Fever soon!! just wait for a little while!! |

Informations is really a big help, but not all true and useful. So for me, research for your own sake. Don't be haphazard , its not easy as you think, better if you do your own research and gain a lot more knowledge. Im also a beginner so i also needed a very true and useful information.

First of all, you have to have a plans with your coin, when you cut loss and when you take profit, go deep in detail. For instant, your asset drops 10%, you cut loss, and if it increase 20% you take profit.
Second, determine who you are, holder or trader. That's it

My advice would be not to get too carried away and invest heavily when the market is suffering.
You need to realize that the high volatility can make you rich as well as poor.
Only invest when you feel you have got enough surplus money.
Do not take loans and invest just for the sake of trading
Always read news to predict the market since this market heavily relies on news

As a newbie, if you have time to spare you can earn some tokens through bounty campaign, i believe it is not everybody who can invest using money from their purse, bounty will increase your portfolio.
My only advice and to keep stay on track no matter what happen. Don't easily get anxious whenever the price is dropping. Just trust the system and improve yourself in every situation you're going to face. Well the only thing that you can do is to focus on your goal and achieve it every step of the way. |

If I am the newbie, I think you should read the whitepaper and visited their official page before invest in the coins or token, they are many altcoins coin still in the construction, have not the real product, don't invest any ICO if you have not enough knowledge about it.

you are good enough to start your cryptocurrency investment, no matter how much your investment are, the very important thing is do not get panic if you see or face bear market. most of new investors are get attacked by panic and tend to quit with cryprocurrency, i will not recommend that thing to you. we have many potential altcoin here so it will be good for you to do your own research regarding which coin you want to invest, believe in yourself and you have to underline this "to not being greedy investor".

I don't know what is the main sense of posting that here if you already know the basics. I think you should research it yourself and do an intense study. You have a ledger wallet to keep your cryptos. That is not a basic man you already know so my suggestion is to thrive hard to earn more!

You sound confident already. When I started an year back, I had no hunch about, why I must do it in the first place. My friends suggested I must atleast start to grasp the concept. A lot of reading and market trend analysis helps but you get the real feel only when you start doing the investments. I am not good at speculating trends, so for that, we have so many forums, where people lend you life saving advice. Good luck with your investments.
BTC is the safest to bet but few altcoins are speculated to have a good future. Ripple too falls in that category.
Remember, have patience and don't lose hope during hard falls.
