Man such a great site I lost a lot of BTC there but had a few decent payouts sad to see it shutdown best of luck to ya now go buy an island!

Ha-ha If doog buys an island off the coast of New Brunswick a couple I demand it be named Dooglus island so we can all visit it Smiley

http://www.privateislandsonline.com/islands/douglas-island-new-brunswick

Yes its called douglas island its a small stretch to make that Dooglus Tongue
And yes please watch the whales ^_^. (In the description)

Believing in Bitcoins and it's ability to change the world
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

The last sentence in the description sounds like a great fit for doog.
Doog has lots of experience in enjoying pleasure, privacy, prestige while watch whales lol. Cheesy

Enjoy the pleasure, privacy and prestige of owning your own island property in New Brunswick, and while you're at it, watch the whales!

How is the withdraws going so far doog?

Had a few ideas to get more attention on JD closing:

You could :
-Write a message explaining JD is closing on the first message of this thread
-In the title/first message of https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=242962.0,
-On JD website
-Bump the bitcointalk JD threads every other day
-Re-send emails to all accounts that show a balance and have registered emails
-Create a new thread explaining players/investors have to withdraw to get some additional attention

After a while you can send the left over to a charity fighting for freedoms

Just-Dice.com

Check out the gambling site I made.  It's a dice game, with the following features:

* low 1% house edge
* near-instant rolls
* off-the blockchain, so no blockchain spam
* high limits - currently you can win 21 31 58 75 90 114 129 142 153 219 291 BTC per roll* - and the limits go up daily
* win up to 1 million times your bet
* pick your own odds of winning
* lively on-site chat room
* provably fair (of course)
* roll "high" or "low"
* keyboard shortcuts for quicker, easier play

The really neat thing about it though is that you can also "be the house", and invest any balance you're not using in the site's bankroll.  Then when other players lose, you win.

For investors, here's the feature list:

* massive 1% house edge Wink
* investing is easy and instant; click the 'invest' tab for details
* take your investment out instantly too
* site operator (that's me) is a long-standing forum member in good standing with the community
* invest as little as 0.001 BTC; no upper limit
* net profit is split between the house and the investors as follows: house gets 10%, investors get 90%.

So now you can easily have your own share in a dice game without the hassle and expense of using stock exchanges, passthroughs, etc.  All investments received go instantly to the site's bankroll and increase the maximum bet size offered to players.  There's a separate thread in the Securities forum for discussion relating to Just-Dice investments.  I recommend that investors 'Watch' that thread since I'll use it to make announcements should I need to.

Just-Dice.com

I will credit the first 200 people who post their user ID (from the 'account' tab) in this thread with a free bitcent to get you started.  You are free to gamble, invest, or just withdraw it as you please.  Smiley Promo is over.  Thanks for taking part!

* the maximum profit per roll is currently 0.5% of the bankroll of the site.  The bankroll is provided by investors.  The bankroll has grown to become enormous, as can be seen by looking at the cold wallet address.

I think what many of you people are saying is like no one can be trusted, Dooglus is good but hes not the only good person out there.  Others deserve a chance.

yeah i think you are right a lot of people deserve a chance

im hoping now prcdice will be good because they are new and i see future in them!

We'll see how many investors they can attract. The investments profits are down about 40% over the last week. I know, variance can be a bitch, but this won't be exactly an advertisement to invest in that site as of now. I wonder whether somethings broken on their site. Although I guess they've been around for a while so I guess it's variance.

Ha.

Something actually was broken, they fixed an exploit today.
There's no way to refund investors if someone abused it in the past too though..

I'm pretty sure that Dooglus would have refunded a loss due to an exploit.

I'm glad I never had to decide about that. The 1300 BTC error with nakowa was bad enough, and luckily didn't end up costing me much; I'm left with 8 investor accounts with negative balances totalling a little over 2 BTC after I rolled back the nakowa bets:

   -0.97780326 2376
   -0.52177427 33234
   -0.26096498 33842
   -0.14724078 346
   -0.05864094 22140
   -0.02801511 3262
   -0.00672428 3039
   -0.00048667 1904

These represent investors who withdrew their profits from nakowa losing his 'fake' 1300 BTC and never redeposited to clear the debt.

yes, but even then you offered to refund it with your own money. Nobody (nearly) wanted that obviously and so it didn't come to it.

Once again: Thank you for your services, I hope you had as much fun as we players and investors did Wink

Hey Dooglus,
Sent you a PM recently. Sorry to hear about the situation. Hopefully things will change for the better going forward. The crypto community landscape, gambling or otherwise, would be quite different without the games and developers such as yourself have contributed.

Here's to looking forward! Cool

Can you disclose the relationship between Nakowa and Lixiaolai now?

I don't disclose personal details about any of the JD or DD customers. That's the main reason I closed down the site; Canada passed a law saying that anyone "dealing in virtual currency" had to start collecting personal information about their customers. I'm not prepared to invade people's privacy like that, so stopped running the sites.

Wait so you are or are not claiming your Nakowa?

I think he (like the NSA) is not prepared to confirm or deny the claim.
