it is incredible the rise of clams
does someone know the reason?
Its hard to predict what will happen next. Since CLAMS can be claimed with anyone  who had BTC in may, therefore after more people realize, they would sell at the price causing the price to go down.
Suddenly, stunna or any other BTC site owner might realize that he could get a lot of CLAMS from his wallet, and would dump.
Is there an estimate how much CLAM can be claimed for approximately 1 BTC that was there in the wallet then?

each address got the same amount of clam at distribution 4.60545574, regardless of the amount of BTC in address(as long as the BTC balance was more than dust at the given date).
Thanks, I guess that might limit the casinos then, unless they had some amount of BTC's in those addresses.

There still is a ton of CLAMs to be claimed though. According to Just-Dice:

09:55:30 INFO: 33,757 of 3,208,032 sets of 4.60545574 CLAM were dug up so far from the initial distribution
09:55:31 INFO: 155,462 CLAM were dug up and 138,660 CLAM were staked for a total of 294,122 CLAM
09:55:31 INFO: if all the distributed CLAMs were dug up, the total money supply would be 14,913,062 CLAM

This is true, but some sites will have had a whole lot of different addresses funded at the time the snapshot was made. I don't know if any sites were having their user deposits go directly to cold storage at the time - but if they were, those sites will probably have a lot of CLAM now.

Just-Dice was using a hot wallet, so deposits were being very quickly used to service withdrawal requests, leaving only around 10 addresses with a balance at any point in time, and so I was able to claim relatively few CLAM from the JD wallets.

Interestingly, the old retired JD hot wallets were a little better, as I was only sweeping those every few weeks.

This BalloonBit guy seems to be trying to smear my reputation because he doesn't want to pay me the bug bounty we agreed on. Why else is he posting in the Just-Dice thread?

Dooglus gave us trus 3/10 and that's for provably fair game that did not scamed any user. If they where they would wrote about that. His rating is unfair, and that after he got his bonus and we had withdrew to him without problems. (now he is waiting 24 hours until we take the decision about his account )

You don't get a good trust rating if you go 2 weeks without stealing anything. Trust takes time to build. Being provably fair is only part of it. Your site is provably fair and yet you seem to be saying you are going to refuse to pay the 1 BTC you owe me. It seems my 3/10 rating was too high after all.

And why such an honest man lied about what we send out emails with passwords, or on about on our website withdraw was promised in an hour when there is written 24 hours?

I can't believe you still don't get it. Here's the message you are talking about. Can you please try to figure out who I am talking to in this message? Hint: it's the person I quote in the message, inkha, who runs a gambling review site:

I see, i'l see what I can do. You can checkout the post now that I approved your reviews and it reflects in the overall score. I have it set to user reviews influencing the overall score 70%, But am thinking I may increase it.

I signed up for your site using a long secure password.

Then it sent a copy of the password to me in a plain text email!

I do understand the part about posting my prive key in the chat. I just don't know how to acces my private key.

I am talking about the android wallet from Andreas Schildbach. Does anyone know how to get the private key?

CLAM is cheap

Are you sure you're being honest with yourself here?

Last trade price of CLAM on polo is 0.0028. That's about $1.04 per CLAM, which means just-dice already has almost $70k invested.

At what point does it become too big?

That's a good question.

I'm hoping the vast un-tapped pool of undug CLAMs will balance this out.

There are ~300k CLAMs in circulation, and ~15 million sitting idle, waiting for BTC/LTC/DOGE users to claim them.

I was expecting enough of that 15 million to become active that it would fill the demand and keep the price from rising too much. And hopefully it still will.

I'm trying like mad to buy other people old addresses during these days, so they don't have to mess with clients/chats/exchangers, do you know how many private keys I buyed for 0.007 btc each (value of 4.5 CLAMs was 0.12)? Two

How is going the claiming ratio? Seems to me that every person interested in claiming their CLAMs had already done that, others won't bother even if you offer them directly btc.

Can someone please tell me what is CALM and how do I get it ? I heard that I dont need to buy it and will get some as per my Bitcoin holding. Is that true ? Moreover, is there any online wallet to have CALM in it, like we have blockchain.info for bitcoin ?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623147.0 is the official announcement thread for CLAM.

-snip-

So, it seems, there is no online wallet for CALM ?

You can deposit to Just-Dice.com and use that as an online wallet I suppose.

I need to give investors an option so they can choose between online (staking) and offline (secure) storage of their coins.

Yes. I expect I'll have that happening automatically by the end of today.

There's a backlog - the site's bankroll already staked 748.0859 CLAMs. So I think what I will do is have the site award 2 CLAMs to the bankroll for every 1 CLAM it stakes until it has caught up with the backlog - once I have the code developed and tested.

Currently the price is going mainly because of JD, and its hard to predict just like bitcoin .

If just-dice wanted to reopen in BTC, most the people that invested in just-dice/clam will sell Clam but by then maybe clam will have captured enough long term believers that will protect the price.
