I've trying to map out what it means for a new user to set up PoDC 2.0 based on https://wiki.biblepay.org/PODC_Setup  Cry Cry Cry

I created a knowledge article with a visual map: https://whitewalr.us/kb/podc-setup-mm

Feel free to leave any feedback or comment. Thanks!

I joined the PoDC leaderboard informatoin with the WCG stats and team files. Except for pollux and barton26 that are in team GridCoin, everyone else is on BiblePay. I've calculated stake requirements based on actual RAC from WCG. And also provided a column for variance. I'll do some more analysis, but the issue seems to be only affected me the worst, but a few other people. I'm going to see if user creation date or any other things from the WCG file makes sense.

Earlier today, I was looking at points for sf7kkn99. It was listed with 1538 points with 0.13 prominence.
c3ded44e062bd53de3fef22be5302fab,BCtEy4v3orgsXTVbjYPe66pWAxsgjhMqpY,sf7kkn99,1538.00,0.13

Now I see only 308 points:
"WCG-c3ded44e062bd53de3fef22be5302fab: BCtEy4v3orgsXTVbjYPe66pWAxsgjhMqpY [sf7kkn99], Pts: 308.00": "0.03%",

I think perhaps the wcg.rac file is being corrupted somehow from the source or from the client.

I just check the sunpool's wcg.rac on Linux server and the wcg.rac is also corrupted. So, it isn't a Windows or Linux thing... I'm beginning to think the issue is with the source file that hosts wcg.rac

The PODC reward have a problem.
one day normal and one day error for reward looping.
please help to fix the problem, i used the windows version.

I updated the front page of the website, the menu and a few other pages,
if anyone sees other edits that need to be made, or has feedback, let me know!
http://biblepay.org/

(The main viewed pages are the front page, the wallet page and the mining page)

=

Rob, I think you own the server the website is on?

Ive noticed that the wordpress admin page has been really sluggish the past few weeks
(and wordpress sometimes loses connection when trying to edit)

Do you think the server is getting overloaded?

Ive also been getting a popup to confirm the main email address but keep skipping it,

I also noticed that PHP needs to be mandatory upgraded

If you have the time to look into this please do!

=

We also need to tackle the high page load times
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2388064.msg52722797#msg52722797

I dont know if we need to optimize images, remove certain plugins, or if its the server, or wordpress, or some combination or something else, any help from anyone is appreciated! I havent dived in yet, but will soon

The wordpress site is the only site left running on our web host company (but its the only thing on the box, wiki.biblepay.org is on a different server).
Im pretty sure the problem is one of the many plugins added back when the first expirimental version was being developed - I think Tom added a bunch of plugins to try to get various things to work in an easier way than editing the wordpress sections.

First could you try deleting any unused plugin.  Then if its still a problem come back and ask me to jump in and Ill move the server to the higher powered servers that we have access to the linux OS on.  Id rather do that as a last resort because that involves moving all of the development scripts that allow downloading biblepay and uploading biblepay binaries.

Thanks Rob, Creating a backup file of the site now, then Ill start testing disabling unused plugins, etc

Im also googling articles to help get more insight

From the very start, BiblePay has been embedding BiblePay verses into the blockchain. I ran across a radio interview from June 2018 with Luke and Togo and it got me thinking about the verses embedded in BiblePay. Had all the Bible verses actually been embedded into the blockchain?

How many Bible verses are in the BiblePay blockchain?

Does anybody know the status of the Biblepay pool?  I will need to do some CPU mining to get the stake funds necessary for PODC 2.0.  Thanks!

It looks like its up, have you switched over to nomp?

http://nomp.biblepay.org

No I have not, my config file still points to pool.biblepay.org.  Will that work or should I switch over?

I have full instructions on how to pool mine.

https://whitewalr.us/2019/biblepay-nomp-pool-mining.html

I believe only the new external miner works with the NOMP pools,
with the just wallet you can only solo mine, Please anyone correct me if Im mistaken

https://wiki.biblepay.org/POBH_Setup

You can certainly use the wallet miner if you want to solo mine, but you get better performance using the external miner.

Some have claimed the wallet is 90% efficient, but so far, have been unable to replicate this claim. On the CPUs, I've tried... it is closer to 75% to 80%. Still a vast improvement from the wallet miner before, but you'd still do better to use the external miner (for solo or pool). More details on the comparison here -- thanks to Marty on Discord for testing some different CPUs:

https://whitewalr.us/2020/bbp-solo-hashrate.html

Been pool mining for a couple days now, seems to be working fine but I have not yet received any payouts from the pool.  I know it's supposed to take at least 12 hours but it's been over 48 at this point.  Do I just need to keep waiting?  Thanks!

Which pool are you mining against, and in your command line settings for bbpminer, do you have the address as part of the command line the payments should be flowing to in there?

If you are mining against nomp.biblepay.org could you please paste your bbp address?

Hi!  Here is my command line:

bbpminer-x86.exe -o stratum+tcp://nomp.biblepay.org:3032 -u BG4cah66HTF4pCYsVS4K7kGCxER7VRQFWK -p x -t 4

Thanks!

I see you are in 5 solved blocks in "Historical Stats" (You can view this from the top menu by searching for bg4c*).
The nomp pool pays out 102 blocks after the height you solved it; so basically in about 100 more blocks you should start seeing these 5 payments on your end.

It's been over 100 blocks since the last several I've received and I still don't see anything in my wallet.  I've tried repairing the wallet but it didn't find any missing transactions, and the block explorer doesn't show any pending transactions to my wallet.  Is NOMP still being sluggish?  Thanks!

4)  Added 'cancelsponsorship' command.  This allows a poom sponsor to cancel a child.

I cancelled sponsorship for cameroon-one childid 007c26f3 . The cancel TX sent 1 BBP to the BB2 address. The child no longer appears on listchildren.

I got successfully setup two days ago and everything's working great. However that is a GREAT use to people like me that don't fully understand enough to map - so I learn by tracing. You just saved me a lot of questions about this project. Thank you for your work! Reminds me of the WWW initial concept proposal sketch. I love maps.

** PODC 2.0 Bad transmission amounts - missing payments **

So the lion's share of the problem has been corrected related to bad gsc transmission stake amounts and missing payments (for all those who have enough collateral in the wallet).

Please restart your baseline from today if you missed a payment or had an invalid transmission.

The only issue we have left with PODC 2.0 is for those who don't have enough collateral; the wallet does not reward the correct amount of RAC in that case in the leaderboard.  The problem has been corrected in the current version, but we have not required a mandatory sanctuary upgrade yet (hence the code is not running in prod yet).  I believe we will roll this out towards the end of the month.

Do you feel it is fair for PoDC 2.0 miners that missed payments (or underpaid) to be made whole through the proposal process? I can do the work, but only if you are supportive. I'd  hate to spend the time doing the work and get downvoted on proposals. It requires a lot of research, inputting some data manually, joining different bits of data together, etc.  I'm expecting the audit to go back 3 weeks (a few days before Christmas to present day) for all PoDC 2.0 miners.

If you happen to keep archives of user.gz from WCG, that'd help a lot. But I have a backup with boincstats and their RAC chart that I can use at the source for daily RAC.

I ran the WCG assoiation command successfully on my windows wallet, but actually I need it on my Linux wallet.

How can I unassosate WCG user from my windows wallet ?
How can I unregister my CPK from my windows wallet ?

* Quit your Windows wallet,
* Quit Linux wallet.
* Copy windows wallet.dat to your Linux wallet (/root/.biblepayevolution for example).
* Restart Linux wallet (biblepayd --daemon)

Hi,
I have 3 questions probably because some bad luck on my side.

My windows station crashed.
So I had to format it and take an old wallet.dat from backup.

This wallet.dat didn't had CPK

So I created a new CPK : bbpminer
My old CPK is bbpminer4

Question number 1 regarding CPK:
How do I delete the old "bbpminer4" from leader boards ?

Question number 2 regarding bankroll.
I get this for the past two days :
Code:
{
"Command": "rac",
"cpid": "b0d53dbe05be041a1539606b610d34aa",
"CPK": "BMSknmPYhs8NAdTcFAq86ZrshRkqJoGECV",

"total_wcg_points": 206243.38,
"external_purse_total_coin_age": 0,
"coin_age_percent_required": 0,
"NOTE!": "Coins must have a maturity of at least 5 confirms for your coin*age to count. (See current depth in coin control).",
"WARNING!": "BiblePay requires staking collateral to be stored in your Christian-Public-Key (External Purse) to be available for GSC transmissions. You currently do not have enough coin age in your external purse. This means your PODC reward will be reduced to a commensurate amount of RAC. Please read our PODC 2.0 guide about sending bankroll notes to yourself. ",
"coin_age_required": 32676.54606403891,
"wcg_id": 1096341,
"rac": 2968.173903
}

Two days ago and also yesterday I ran "exec bankroll" and it seem not to sense my 1 milion bbp
I managed to run only once "exec bankroll 10 10000"
Why it doesn't sense I have 1 million available BBP ?

Question number 3:
How much time should pass since "exec bankroll" and untill I can use the funds in PODC ?

Are the funds going to a charity like Kairos?

No BIOS are appearing for Kairos kids by the way.

1) The foundation funds are only to be spent on charity expenses (not payroll or new exchange fund).  We can let them accumulate until we have another charity expense to pay.  While POOM is being used, we don't have any currently, but for example in a few months when we have time for it we can make a proposal to donate it to something very useful (like an Israeli orphan, or something we havent done before, like babies for compassion etc). Remember, technically we do take donations in BBP using the wallet "Donate to foundation", so those go to the same place.  Just because we have POOM does not mean we completely shut down the ability to donate to the foundation.

2) If you type 'listchildren all' and click on a Kairos bio, I see they aren't completed.  Here is Andy's email so you can follow up on that.  Let me know if you find one that is finished and then I will finish the code for the importer that syncs both Cameroon and Kairos in the collage:
Kairos Children's Fund <kairoschildren@gmail.com>

3) I updated the accountability expenses and revenue.  Now all of the tithe blocks, governance charity expenses, donations to us, and all manually handled liquidated revenue and expenses are in the table from inception.  It's accurate up to today.  The only thing I anticipate that needs done once per month (in our current POOM ecosystem) is ensuring that we have a script that dumps the : POOM expenses and revenue into the table.  Ill check to see if that works in February (for the end of Jan 2020's entries for Kairos and Cameroon-one).

Any update on the NOMP pool not paying out?  Thanks!

I tried shifting over to one of the other pools and let it run for over 100 blocks but still nothing.  I have just generated a fresh receive address so we'll see if maybe that was the problem.

1) To let bbpminer4 die off and bbpminer to start, you just need to reassociate the CPID once using 'bbpminer'.  Do the 'exec associate user vercode true' with this wallet, and after 7 blocks, the leaderboard should start showing bbpminer, and bbpminer4 will fall off later.  You can 'exec unjoin wcg' on the bbpminer4 optionally but only if you have access to that old wallet.  Dont worry about the unjoin, it will dissapear when bbpminer starts using the cpid.

2) After exec bankroll is ran, it usually takes 3-4 confirms then exec rac shows the 'extern purse total coin age' increase.  This can lead to some complicated questions, so why dont we go down to the easiest path.  First just check again.  If you dont have coin age in exec rac, go to coin control, and see what balance do you have in your CPK?  BMSknmPYhs8NAdTcFAq86ZrshRkqJoGECV?  Then come back, and tell us if you still dont have coin age and what the CPK balance is...  As by now you should have coin age....  After 3-5 confirms....
