yes, we see today like a big fight between BTC and BCH. I can not answer with certainty. but I speculate that bitcoin can not be defeated by another altcoin. the standard time is until entering 2018.

I think bitcoin will remain the cryptocurrency standard for 2018 and then after that is up for grabs, there's new technologies being developed today to replace bitcoin and bitcoin cash that can take over the crypto space, especially if bitcoin refuses to increase its update speed, crypto currencies will stay, its a revolution that is no longer stoppable but i'm pretty sure a new king will raise by 2019 or even earlier.

Even if bitcoin's price plummets to -15.02% from its base price at 19,000$ still bitcoin is the king of cryptoworld. Bitcoin Cash is only a hardfork from bitcoin which means it only copy what bitcoin's attribute has so there's no way it can beat BTC. Only if BTC is gone will BCH have a chance to succeed BTC's place.

bch is not going to replace bitcoin anytime soon. However, it could eventually grow at a faster rate than bitcoin. Then, if it surpassed bitcoin after some time of coexistence, changing the brand names would be highly confusing for the most people and probably damage both brands.  Once bitcoin is dethroned, this might have a very negative effect on the whole market and even crash it for long time if not forever, because people don`t want to invest in something that will again be replaced by a better coin in future.

Whatever it is no one an beat Bitcoin. For the past days BCH pumped since it was added to coinbase and it has a big effect to btc from $19k now to $14k. I'm not that good in this business but my point is it is the origin of all with its reputation and popularity still if I am an investor I will still invest in BTC because I know it can catch up in the next days.

I dont know. But I think that Bitcoin cash is better than Bitcoin about transaction speed and size of block. Maybe if there are many people shifting use Bitcoin cash more, it can replace Bitcoin

between which bitcoin and which cash bitcoin are superior does not matter as long as we keep controlling both. If altcoin now beat bitcoin because the bitcoin cash price is now rising and the bitcoin decreases which does not mean bitcoin will lose. At least altcoin will stay side by side with bitcoin as our choice to do business better.

yes I like your opinion, no matter which coin is most popular, it is important we can invest in all coins and benefit from it. But I think the other coins can not exceed the bitcoin value. because the parent altcoin is bitcoin.

I think bch can’t beat bitcoin becuase bitcoin has already more investors and bitcoin cash is only a an altcoins so it can’t beat bitcoin. But it always depends on the demand and many investors in the way of winnig. For me bitcoin is always the number one becuase bitcoin is already the foundation of all the alternate coins out there. As majority of the users quote bitcoin to be the base for the virtual currency, it won't get defeated by any of the altcoins that gets initiated. When it comes to bitcoin cash, it is purely the fork element of bitcoin. So, if bitcoin is not available, bitcoin cash could have never got the identity and the popularity as the present.

I think that won't happen for now. Not necessarily beat bitcoin in the
actual sense, but maybe show the same growth potential that may
probably rival btc sometime soon. Make no mistake bitcoin cash is
a promising altcoin. Besides bitcoin is quite huge nowadays and is at a
advantageous position right now. Bitcoin cash and other altcoins
out there are also full of potential and are prudent investments.

In fact, there is no need to worry about this problem, which is completely impossible. Most of BCH is in the hands of miners, and has lost the decentralization of the nature! So it's not possible to replace bitcoin.
