I think not. Because altcoins also depend on bitcoin. Just like in the recent drop, as bitcoin's price fell altcoins fell too. So I can think bitcoin cash will not beat bitcoin because they're co-existing with each other and if bitcoin fell so will bitcoin cash.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

If it did it wouldn't be a quick transition. Bitcoin has to much infrastructure that would be difficult to switch to a new coin. Look eth was nearly over bitcoins market cap months ago but look now. Takes testing like this to build strength. Bitcoin will probably stay on top but it wont be easy.

I'd say that it won't survive longer. There are many Alt's with better technology and it's just a matter of time to mass people realize that. I also believe that just a few of then will survive, and BTC is not one of than. So, it's a buble, but it was the first kick for the blockchain era

why are people calling Bitcoin cash can beat bitcoin its a fork from bitcoin but bitcoin cash beat bitcoins in terms of transaction fee currently the transaction fee on bitcoin is high because of its high price and block times not only that BCC beats bitcoin in finding blocks it can find blocks less than 20 minutes or even 10 minutes.

As you can see the current bitcoin market rate.. It's recovering slowly.. I don't think bitcoin cash will replace BTC.. If it does, it would take a long long time.

No. Definitely not. Bitcoin has already a name in this industry and has been popular every now and then. The differencw between BTC and BCH is very far. Fork always takes place and a new coin is being developed or made but that does not necessarily mean it will defeat bitcoin. There are only factors that was made to corrupt the mindset of bitcoin users and investors. It's a pani strategy so that many would sell bitcoin and change to bitcoin cash.

Any coin can beat bitcoin. Coins with new ideas, low fees, and safe transactions are welcome. There is space for many crypto coins in this world, as we have 100+ currencies in the world today.
Although there are many good alts today, Bitcoin Cash doesn't have the potential to beat BTC. It can take a good share of the market cap but nothing more.
BTC is the first crypto coin issued and deserves respect from us, the only issue is the problem with the high fees, that needs to be solved.

So we see that something like a real fight between Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash has started. While BTC fell and go on falling, Bitcoin Cash has shown a fantastic growth!
Does it mean that there is a possibility altcoin will be the winner?
For me it's no,  bitcoin is the first of cryptocurrencies and the King of crypto no one can beat bitcoin.

My opinion is it can't. BCH backers saying that it is faster than BTC, it's cheaper than BTC. And what? Doge is faster than BCH, Doge is cheaper than BCH. So we should say that DOGE is real BTC? Not of course! The only advantage of BCH is they have bitcoin word on their name. That's all. BTC has best price because crypto lovers believe it will be the  value holder of altcoins.

If we should choose cheaper and faster coin to replace BTC I would choose DGB but not BCH.

I hope the answer is NO because Bitcoin is the mother or father of altcoins. Don't forget, Bitcoin Cash is altcoin and it can not reach Bitcoin value.
