May i install MN on Windows VPS or just Linux?

You can start your masternode on Windows VPS as well. Please go through the guide and let us know if you run in to any issue. If you do not have much experience with linux then should stick to Windows. The only downside is Windows VPS cost little more.

You need to delete all file in magnet folder except wallet.dat and the setting (magnet.conf and masternode.conf) and restart your wallet

Before we rat hole, either in the VPS ( cd magnet -> ./magnetd getinfo ) or in the windows client ( getinfo through the console )
Double check your block height is the same as here: http://explorer.magnetwork.io/

If so, likely something unique going on. The easiest solution I've found is dump the private key in the old VPS, import into a new VPS
That order is, all in VPS:

[In old VPS]
cd magnet
./magnetd listreceivedbyaddress 0 true
[You identify address holding the keys, save that on scratch paper]

Command to export your private key: ./magnetd  dumpprivkey YourBitCoinPublicAddress

Command to import your private key: ./magnetd importprivkey YourBitCoinPrivateKey

and you rescued your coins

Had to Vultr VPS spike at 100% CPU running up the bill because I left them on 1.4.1 and it was stuck at some block.
Rescued 4 of four MNs. Hell of a week though, so hope my lessons serve someone well.

So I didn't do anything except removed all files from magnet folder except wallet.dat and magnet config. I launched the wallet again and let it sync. I got busy for a day at work and after awhile when I checked it was properly synced and my wallet was showing the balance that is on the explorer. I think it was a gap of around 36 hours when I launched the wallet and finally checked.
